They were on time and did exactly what the said they would.. Both men were clean and tidy, and left it spotless.. One of the lads even put my Christmas tree back in the loft for me...
We decided to have a loft ladder installed and chose a service to supply and fit it. Initially, they sent a representative to assess the situation and discuss the type of ladder we wanted. He was great, arriving on time and doing a solid job. However, when the installation date came, no one showed up at the scheduled time. After calling, we learned they don’t guarantee arrival times, and it would be later in the day. We had to cancel because we had other commitments. A second installation date was arranged, but again, no one arrived at the agreed time. They later called to cancel due to a van breakdown. On the third scheduled date, the fitters, two young men, arrived on time and completed the installation. Later, I checked the loft and found the installation to be poorly done. Some screws were too short to reach solid wood, while others were excessively long, protruding dangerously. They used spacers incorrectly, filling large gaps with multiple spacers instead of a proper plank. When we reached out to the service, they offered to send the fitters back, but we would prefer not to have those individuals return.
I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the contractor who installed my loft ladder today. He arrived right on time at 11:00 AM, despite the challenging weather, and finished the installation by 12:45 PM. He was polite, professional, and the cleanest contractor I've ever encountered—there was no mess left behind. The company should definitely keep him. I'd be glad to leave a positive review on your website if possible.

When it was rescheduled for 28 November, I confirmed multiple times that the installer would arrive at 9:00 AM and finish by 12 PM due to our baby's nap schedule. However, no one showed up at 9:00 AM, and we received a message at 9:14 AM stating the installer would 'hopefully' arrive by 12 PM, with no explanation or apology. I had to reach out to the installer myself, who mentioned he was coming from over an hour away, indicating the company must have known they wouldn’t make it but chose not to inform us. He finally arrived at 11:40 AM, nearly three hours late, disrupting our baby's routine. The installation left our hallway and stairs covered in dust and debris. When we raised these concerns, the company's responses were dismissive, denying the agreed appointment time and refusing any accountability. Given our experience with their poor communication and lack of responsibility, I strongly recommend others to avoid this service.
I hired this service to install a new loft hatch and ladder. They were quick to provide a quote. Due to the unique layout of my loft, I was advised to choose a different ladder that was supposedly stronger and more robust. While the new loft hatch is perfect, the ladder is excessively long, protruding around 12-14 inches above the floor, making it difficult to climb over. I contacted the office and was told a bespoke ladder could be provided at no extra cost, but it would take six weeks. After waiting, the new ladder was installed, but it was the same as my previous one, not bespoke. I paid £255 for the hatch and £275 for a ladder I can't use. I've tried to contact the office for a refund difference but have received no response. While the initial installation was quick, the after-sales service has been lacking.

We had loft access and boarding done by the team, and it was a fantastic experience. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and the free quote service was very helpful. On the day, the worker was professional and even helped clear away heavy boards. He worked diligently and kept us updated on progress. Overall, the quality of the installation was superb, and I had a wonderful experience.
