We’ve been with the monitoring service for five years. After some financial difficulties this month, we couldn’t pay the full annual fee of 295. When we called to resolve this, we learned about an additional reinstallation fee of 125. They insisted a technician was needed, even though we already had everything set up and it hadn’t been long since our cancellation. They were unhelpful and even suggested we seek another service. They refused to waive the reinstallation fee despite our circumstances. We don’t need a technician; everything is new and functioning well. Now, due to these extra charges, we’re looking at $35 a month for 12 months instead of the advertised $15.99. Unfortunately, we feel we must move on due to their treatment over the phone.

My alarm system has been malfunctioning since the takeover. I’ve had to wait at least two hours for an agent to answer every time I need support, and the alarm is still not operational. I prepaid until December 2026 but am receiving no service or technical support.
I contacted the monitoring service to request the installer code for my alarm since it has always been mine, and I want to add some wireless window contacts. Their reply instructed me to call their number, but when I did, I was directed to call another company. Now I understand why I haven’t received any callbacks after testing and triggering false alarms—no one is monitoring my alarm.
The monitoring service sold their company without refunding my credit or closing my contract. They also violated my privacy by selling my information without my consent. I protested to their management, but they seem indifferent to customer concerns. Disappointing!
I want to express my appreciation for the company and what they do; it’s crucial to keep the home secure. There are many suspicious individuals around, so protecting your comfort and family is essential. The installation was quick, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

After six months, I was charged $300 per year without warning. Recently, after the company was taken over, the service has deteriorated. Today, my son accidentally triggered the alarm, and after waiting 20 minutes for a call that never came, I called them myself only to be put on hold with advertisements. This is unacceptable in an emergency. When I finally reached someone, they were unhelpful, and I was told to call back another day. I’m now left questioning my family’s safety and will be looking for another monitoring service.
Thanks to a fantastic technician, I have successfully upgraded my old alarm system to a new one with cellular monitoring. He resolved long-standing issues and completed the work professionally at a reasonable cost. I only wish I could have him assist me again in the future!
