Do Not Use Electrical Logistics

Electrical Logistics, Birmingham.Do not use this company. In mid-November I was put in touch with ‘Electrical Logistics’ by ‘Go Assist’, ( believing I was phoning a local company, when in fact the engineer has been coming from `Birmingham). I needed a repair to my dishwasher and we paid £139 call out fee. Since then I have had 5 engineer visits and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this time it will actually work. Throughout this time, I have constantly ‘phoned trying to get updates but despite always being assured that it will be looked into immediately and with urgency and someone will phone me back that day, I have never had anyone phone me back. The engineer for the first visit never turned up and didn’t contact us. Eventually the engineer did visit the next week and we were told a new part costing £62 was required. We paid this (it has now been refunded) and a new appointment was made. The part was fitted but after he left, the machine showed the same fault. We had another visit and had to pay a further £356 to order another part. This part was fitted and after the engineer had left, telling us to now run the machine on an intensive wash, we found this was impossible because the door would not open as he had not screwed up a plate in the bottom of the machine.I e-mailed the Managing Director, Mr Steven Beetison, outlining our experience and hoping for some help to get the matter resolved. He has never responded and when I tried to speak to him by phone he was ‘in a meeting’ and he has still never come back to me.In summary: We have been without our dishwasher for10 weeks- a time spanning Christmas!! We have spent £500; We have stayed in on two occasions waiting for a booked engineer to turn up when he didn’t; I have spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone (much of the time for no one to answer and then the call to be cut off!); I have had the phone put down on me and the MD has refused to communicate with me. I would emphasise that throughout this time I have always remained respectful

⭐️ Very poor service

⭐️ Very poor service – extremely disappointingMy LG washing machine has now been broken for over two weeks. I have an extended warranty with LG. LG contracted the repair to Pacifica, who then subcontracted it again to Electrical Logistics (Birmingham).Electrical Logistics are not responding to phone calls or emails, and despite being told an engineer would attend first thing today, no one turned up and no contact was made.LG say it’s down to Pacifica, Pacifica say it’s Electrical Logistics — meanwhile I’m left without a working washing machine and no answers. This has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming, with a complete lack of ownership and accountability across all parties. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise people to think very carefully before using LG extended warranties or the companies they subcontract repairs to.A repair service should not work like this.Pacifica LtdLG Global

Not so bad

Not wishing to go against the other reviews, but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. I had advised them it needed a particular spare part to fix my dishwasher and the chap arrived with it. That was at 3.30pm on a Friday and he faced a tough 60 miles journey home to Brum after. He was cheerful and got on with the job. My only critism is I had to call them to establish arrival time.

Diabolical. Avoid

Electrical Logistics shouldn't be trusted. We had a broken washing machine, and in contacting the supplier they put us through to the manufacturers, who then passed the book to engineer companies. Electrical Logistics confirmed they would be coming out on the selected day; we waited a week, and the day before the said date they rang to confirm again they would be coming and, 'fixing' the machine. The day arrived and they cancelled. By this point we had been without a washing machine for 2 weeks, and had obviously put things ready in place for this appointment, so needless to say, it was extremely disappointing that on the day itself, they cancelled. Especially after their very confident 'we are coming to fix it' the day before..... That said, the next day they did manage to make it to the rearranged appointment slot...but what a disaster it was. The engineer carelessly flooded the floor twice, (over the cause of us needing our washing machine to be fixed, our kitchen floor is now beyond ruined from careless reflooding over and over), the miscellaneous part he arrived with didn't fit, then after a while of fiddling about he stated he couldn't sort it. Frustrating and extremely disappointing.Afterwards he then came to us with the idea that one of the pipes at the back was meant to be a different shape...?But the already broken promise of a fix, cancellation, careless reflooding, and then to find black greasy hand prints and smudges all over our walls was enough for us to never want anyone from Electrical Logistics in our house ever again. Their disorganisation and faffing about with appointments was frustrating, and the fact that after many statements about how they 'definitely will be fixing' the machine, only to arrive and messily assess the machine without any single improvement, redamaging our floor, was not appreciated. But the disrespectful and utter disregard for the rest of our property was extremely upsetting to find. These greasy black marks are proving impossible to remove, and when we reported this back to Electrical Logistics they simply didn't care enough to even reply to us. Diabolical. If people let you into their homes to assist and in theory help with a problem, it's one thing not being able to unfortunately fix the issue, but to create further problems, damaging the property is unacceptable. It's a disgustingly awful way to work, and the fact the company haven't even bothered to apologise I think speaks volumes about their standards and work ethics. Whilst we respect it wasn't their fault that we had an on going situation with getting our washing machine fixed, they absolutely added to the situation in a deeply unhelpful, disrespectful and stressful way. We are left angry, and very upset with our experience of Electrical Logistics. Their visit has made matters worst and cost us money we otherwise wouldn't be spending, (having to fix the damage they made). Stand well clear....

What can I say about his company

What can I say about his company. I reported my fridge/ freezer to go -assist on the 26-8/25 who this company is contracted too. Their engineer came out all he did was put his hand on freezer back wall and said you need this part I’ll order it. When part arrived a different engineer came out did a proper diagnosis on it and said the part ordered is not the problem you need another part so I paid £52 for previous part and now got to pay another £82 for new part and I have to wait untill 2/10/25 for part to come which is over 2 weeks away don’t for get I reported my fault on the 26/8/25 which means i will have been waiting over a month?. When I phoned up electrical logistics all he said was he made a mistake have you not made a mistake before and was very abusive I had to contact from these people since the 12/9/25 I had to call them on the 3/10/25 to see where my part was.a woman answered and made some bull -s**t story up that they tried to call me on the 24th & 30th of September I had no contact at all.if you need appliances fixing etc do not use these people they are cowboys even a engineer who came out said that his fellow engineers most of them are useless that tells you everything about this company stay away you have been warned

I paid go assist for a repair for my…

I paid go assist for a repair for my Lacanche oven which their website says they are approved repairers. The engineer turned up from a third party company called Electrical Logistics. The engineer did not fully inspect the appliance to diagnose the faulty oven control knob. In fact he couldn’t even locate the model and serial number. As a result of his incompetence Go Assist contacted me to say they could not obtain parts as they could not identify the appliance nor could they source parts and said they were unable to repair my £5.5 k oven but offered £40 towards a new oven from their website. I contacted Lacanche who advised me how to find the serial number which involved removing the left hand drawer. Also that all parts are readily available. They also sent a link on how I could lift the hob, and resecure a likely loose nut on the oven knob control arm. I ended up fixing the problem myself in 2 minutes. A complete waste of of £140 that I paid Go Assist. Don’t waste your
