I've been working with TPA for about 5 months and it has been transformational. They have a unique approach to helping mental health professionals (I'm a grief counselor) clarify EXACTLY what their unique offer is and who is their Ideal Client. Their unique and compelling method involves both private and group coaching, as well as a well-structured and powerful online tutorial program that unfolds over the course of many months. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who was misled into enrolling in the Therapy Practice Accelerator (TPA) program, which was financed through Covered Care. I was promised that the program would significantly increase my caseload within a month and “double my clients” within two months. None of these promises were fulfilled.After a sales call, I was immediately enrolled in a payment plan to “help cover the costs initially.” Without any clear results or follow-through, I have already paid over $4,000, and I am still being charged on a $10,014.61 loan with an interest rate of 24%.When I asked to cancel after realizing the program did not deliver what was promised, I was met with resistance and no meaningful resolution. As a licensed professional who values ethics and transparency, I am appalled at how this company markets to therapists who are simply trying to grow their practices.Please be cautious before signing any agreement or financing through this company. Their tactics feel predatory and deceptive, preying on mental health professionals who are just trying to serve their clients and make an honest living.
I graduated TPA several years ago. TPA helped me set up my website and my Google Ads when I was student in about 2019. Recently, I had to make changes to both my website and Google Ads. When I ran into issues I didn't know the answer to, I reached out to TPA. TPA has responded quickly and helped me easily figure out how to move forward. Even after finishing their program, they are there to provide support.
I’m so grateful for all the support TPA offered me as a therapist in a saturated market. The work I put in during the program really came back to me and then some. My practice definitely wouldn’t be where it’s at without it. Their streamlined approach centers on business development strategies and skills that aren’t part of graduate school training and really get results. Support is individually tailored to each person’s practice goals and dreams. I would highly recommend this short term investment that definitely pays off. Worth every penny, as long as you’re committed to putting in the work that is tried and true.
I am new to counseling and started my practice completely from scratch. Business and technology have never been my strengths, but I knew from the beginning that I wanted a cash-based practice, without insurance, and to focus on a niche market.TPA gave me the support I needed to make that vision a reality. They guided me through clarifying my business model, building my website, learning organic marketing, tracking finances, and running Google Ads campaigns. It felt like earning a mini-degree in running a counseling practice. I now feel far more confident as a small business owner—a big accomplishment in itself!I’m well on my way to meeting my goals. I’m not quite there yet, but I’ll make a small confession: I didn’t do all of the organic marketing they recommended. Even the little I implemented has been effective, and I know that if I had followed through fully, my results would be even stronger. Fortunately, I had the financial flexibility to take things at a slower pace.The staff at TPA were consistently encouraging and supportive. They helped me work through my insecurities about running a business and gave me the tools to build a solid practice. I am truly grateful for the program—it accelerated my growth in ways I could not have achieved on my own. Without it, I believe I’d still be struggling with very low client numbers. They talk a lot about ROI. Well, I didn't get a single call/client/lead from the website they designed, the PT profile they edited, or the Google Ads. Before asking, I did go to the GA meetings every week and did everything they suggested. There were changes in staff that I didn't know about that I wasn't aware of for over a month. I sent things in for editing and it took up to 2 months to get them back. Because of these things they extended my time twice. It was a total waste of time and money.
They helped me build my dream therapy practice website! Also, I learned tools for how to be accountable to myself in taking the actions needed to be a successful entrepreneur. Shout out to Madonna! She was so supportive along my journey :)
