TPA helped me first of all own my identity as an entrepenuer and business owner. I resisted this identity coming into TPA. I thought that being a great therapist made me entitled to have a successful practice. I now understand it takes a lot more than that. I gained confidence in networking. I made an amazing website and ads that have attracted consistent leads and clients. I had accountability to keep taking steps forward even when things felt discouraging. My last 4 months in TPA my profit more than doubled what I made the first 4 months of TPA. TPA is not for those that don't want to work or take responsibility but if you are looking for guidance and want to grow as a practice owner and are willing to put in a lot of work, and make yourself uncomfortable, the investment is well worth it.

Its a sham... If your schedule changes and you cannot meet on the schedule that you had signed up for then forget it. Once they're paid you might as well kiss your money goodbye. I had to go back to the office and when that happened I wasn't able to meet on the schedule that I had signed up for and asked for some additional times but was told the schedules were set and that I knew that coming into it. Its sucks!!! I am sure its great for some but it wasn't for me!

Late 2022, I had just started my private practice and knew what I wanted to create, but not how to do it alone. I was the corporate girl who knew the business, but not how to make the business work for ME. I had a 5 month old and I knew corporate life wasn't for me anymore. Enter TPA ads. They plagued me on instagram. Daily. I thought it was a sign but I called the bologna (or so I thought). Wow...what can I say?! When I first came across this program, I honestly thought it was a scam. I was deep in the weeds, stalking Psychology Today profiles, cold calling, and interviewing, trying to figure out if I was right. I quickly determined, I was wrong. It is indeed real. The program wasn’t “easy”, there was real work, self-discovery, and digging deep on my part. But by following their process, I had my website and Google Ads up by February, and soon after, I quit my corporate job. By graduation, I had already hired two therapists and cleared 6 figures my first year! From there, I signed up for another year of mentorship, during which I increased my profits by 50%, bought and renovated an office building, welcomed a new baby, expanded my team, and had an intern.This is my first year not officially in a program with TPA, yet I still lean on them for website needs or advice. Every single time, they are there! I’m on track to double my income again, my team has doubled in size, and we’re preparing to possibly purchase another office building to accommodate the growth and future plans to integrate medication management services. TPA isn’t a quick fix....it requires commitment, consistency, and trust in the process. BUT if you put in the work, the results are real. I couldn’t recommend them more and will forever be grateful for their guidance and support. Because of TPA, I get to truly enjoy my life and my practice.
Hands down would recommend this program to any therapist looking to build their ideal practice. I was completely in the dark on the business side of things but spent years helping others build their group practices, Starting my own seemed daunting and confusing. TPA walks you clearly and easily through all of the steps. I found the pacing of the program to be perfect for me. I didn't realize until my time with them was over just how much I accomplished in a short time. They walked me through the heavy lifting part. Their staff are incredibly supportive and genuine, you can tell they love their work and want you to succeed. If you do the steps the way they outline them, and participate in their offerings, you will have a successful practice. I can't recommend them enough.
My private practice was up and running already, so I specifically asked if they could help me convert my existing clients to self-pay. The sales team said YES. (Lie #1). There isn't actually a 'training module' for use wit existing clients. I also specifically asked if the cost to get started ($8900) was the only cost, and again the sales team said YES. (Lie #2) You have to pay for head shots, a domain name, web hosting, and google advertising. None of that is included - BEWARE!!!
After $1,200 and 12 months, I didn't get one private pay patient. I extended by paying another $1,000 for 3 months and it was still the same. I'm not alone. I saw many posts in their private FB page and many discussions during their live calls where others were timing out and hadn't gotten any clients or had just had their first. I had high hopes, but it wasn't worth the time and energy I put into it and it certainly wasn't worth the money. I would have been much better off hiring someone to build me a website and monetize it.
TPA helped me double my income while maintaining a weekly schedule that feels perfect. Through the program I developed marketing and business skills that have empowered me to run my practice effectively and feel confident that I can maintain my practice for the long haul. I’ve created my dream practice, seeing clients I love working with achieve remarkable results, and setting my sights on even more ambitious content creation goals.Beyond its business development aspects, the TPA process is also a journey of personal growth. It was incredible to discover and overcome my aversion to sales and transform my limited beliefs about money. One of the program’s greatest strengths lies in its exceptional team. From the initial phone calls to the meticulous website creation, each person was incredibly helpful, adding just the right input to keep me moving forward, and always with a cheerful smile.The program is comprehensive and while it does take a lot of work, the steps are very clear and well-presented. Do not hesitate to call them and find out for yourself!
Therapy Practice Accelerator gave me the structure and tools I needed to grow my private practice with confidence. The modules walk you through exactly how to market yourself effectively as a therapist, and you have continued access to the materials, which is a huge plus. The program also includes a supportive Facebook group where you can ask questions, stay accountable, and learn from others in the same boat — I found that incredibly helpful during my first year.It’s definitely an investment, but if you actually work the program, it works. I started with a small office and now have multiple locations and am preparing to hire additional clinicians to keep up with the demand. I wouldn’t be where I am now without the guidance I got through this program. Highly recommend it to any therapist ready to take the next step in private practice.
