Review Time
Just finished my program last month. It is not a scam, there are real people with real ideas and real support (although not nearly enough of it and no phone support which I found difficult.) It is extremely time consuming and very technologically based. Overall, the program did not work for me. I have a few more clients than I did when I started but I don't think that more than one or two are though the program. I don't think google ads works at all, I think google is changing faster than TPA can keep up and while I was doing the program there were constant glitches and changes because google had changed something. I wrote and rewrote my google ads landing page multiple times and got very little inquiries. I paid a lot of money and I doubt I will ever get enough business through the TPA enhancements to compensate for what I paid. I had been very excited and am very disappointed. Would not recommend.
I'm going to share my experience so far with TPA. I reunited with my college sweetheart, and I married him and moved back to KY from GA last summer. In GA, I had a salaried university position and very successful part-time private practice. I contacted TPA last August, and I chickened out of using them to achieve my dream. Instead, I found a salaried position I had to commute an hour and fifteen minutes for at a practice that had recently been bought by a large corporation. After working for them for a few months, I was fired from my salaried position due to a credentialing issue related to opting out of Medicare in GA, which was beyond my control to undo for 2 more years. I had never been fired in my life. I contacted TPA again in desperation to try to build a practice overnight. TPA has delivered. I went from having 10 or less weekly clients to being full in less than a month with the help they gave me with my Psychology Today profile, my other online directory, and organic marketing strategies. I filled up in a way that has included some ideal clients but many insurance clients through an online platform to help them utilize their insurance. Let me be clear my time from 10 or less clients to full and attracting ideal clients was less than a month with TPA. I am currently finishing the final steps to complete my website, and I am excited to be able to turn all my efforts toward obtaining my ideal clients now. TPA made the difference between failing in a new environment without known referral sources and being full before I could even begin to worry if I could make it financially after being fired. I cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone at TPA. Trust them and this process. It works, and I can't wait to complete the next steps! Now I am full, and I just want to say how much I appreciate everyone!
I joined Therapy Practice Accelerator (TPA) when I was starting my private practice from scratch, and, though it was an investment, it was worth every penny. What TPA teaches is not found in any MSW program. I knew how to be an effective and ethical clinician, but I did not know how to attract ideal clients or evaluate/attend to the health of a small business. TPA gave me an essential business education that most therapists never receive and, as a result, I'm not beholden to insurance companies or any other limitations. I've gained the knowledge I needed to build a sustainable, values-aligned practice. TPA provided the structure, accountability, and support to help me implement it. They held my hand when I needed guidance, but they also expected me to show up and do the work. Accountability is built in. This is a program that works if you work it. The combination of mentorship and personal responsibility was exactly what I needed to grow. As a result, I’ve developed not just a thriving cash-pay private practice, but both a mindset and skillset I can carry forward...very important given the uncertainty of the season our country is in. If you're serious about building a practice that reflects your purpose and your dreams AND serves your clients well, TPA is an incredible resource. Please know, the brilliant, kind, skilled, and talented TPA staff will not do all of the work for you, but they will empower you, and that's a true gift. I'll use what I've learned from TPA for the rest of my life.
I joined TPA with the intention to build a private practice and a desire to move into a group practice model over the next preceding years. Not only did TPA support me in creating a website, they also taught me the process of maintaining it over the long haul. I was operating with a full caseload within 6 months and at my 7th month mark hired my first clinician. Since then I have hired on 5 additional clinicians/staff and firmly hold that this would not have been possible with the guidance and coaching within TPA. 100% worth it.
Top to bottom, TPA has been a game changer! We were upfront about the income we were looking for in private practice. 4 years later we have achieved, on average, 125%of that per month. What do they provide? Framework, support and expertise. What do they not provide? The motivation, resilience and work ethic. We understood there is not secret class or amount of money we can pay to just hand us a business. It took a couple years before it was completely full and actually making the money we were looking for. Through that we gained the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain it and allow it to thrive!Without a doubt, we would do it all over again! Thank you TPA!
After seeing TPA pop up countless times on my Instagram Feed I finally took the leap. This program is tough! It calls for deep introspection, self-awareness and challenges you to think beyond your comfortability. I have grown both personally and professionally as a result of TPA. In my experience you have to take full accountability of the result you want to see and work the program. The team at TPA are SO knowledgeable in their respective fields and really are the best of the best. If you are willing to put in the work and utilize the knowledge provided in TPA you will succeed. I was able to leave my full time job two months after my Google Ads and Website went live. TPA is for the true Entrepreneur.
I I wanted help building my private practice and started looking at different programs online. After talking to several companies, Therapy Practice Accelerator resonated the most with what I sought. I started with 8 clients and am at the end of my year with over 25 scheduled sessions for this week. I had to pause my Google ads and other marketing strategies until I could do my private practice full-time. This program is fantastic, and it got me everything I needed. I have a beautiful website that my clients rave about; I am confident in my marketing strategies and other business aspects of owning a private practice. I know how to make changes to my website, so I can fly solo now, something that seemed impossible at the beginning of this process. The TPA team is fantastic. They are patient and kind in their knowledge-sharing and will push you in all the right ways to get you to flourish. The team sessions are inspiring; even just listening to others share will provide so much knowledge. The more you put in, the more you will get out of this program. Stay focused on your vision, and the results will blow you away. I warmly recommend TPA to all my peers, and if you are thinking about it, go for it. :) The money will pay itself off in no time.
I have enjoyed my time working with TPA and especially the support I have received and keep receiving from Madonna and the team. I believe that my website would have never been as professional and fun as it is today, had it not been for their help along the way. I have finished paying for their service and will be with them for another 5 months, and it is my hope that during that time with Google Ads and my amazing website that I will bring in more clients than I currently have. It is definitely a lot of work, more time consuming than I realized and time will tell if I can expand my practice with these tools.They are a very committed and knowledgeable team and it has been helpful to be held accountable in working towards weekly/monthly goals. When I joined TPA, I had only 8 private pay clients and was financially strapped, unable to pay all my bills. Six months later, I now have 33 clients and a waitlist, with 3-4 new inquiries for treatment per day. Therapy Practice Accelerators is everything they claim. They offered me equal to a Master's degree level class in Marketing, giving me tools I will use the rest of my career to keep my business thriving.
