I am so grateful to TPA for the support that they gave me during a very difficult time. I experienced a great deal of unexpected difficulties in my life after signing with TPA. TPA was very supportive and really helped me to keep going. They helped me create a beautiful website that was beyond my expectations and the lessons and support calls around learning networking, Google Ads, etc were immensely helpful. I really appreciated that I could go at my own pace and hang out on calls to get my questions answered, fears soothed and listen and learn from others. I met others on a happy hour call and got lots of support from other TPAers on the Facebook site, support calls and groups that formed to network outside of TPA. Madonna, my TPA contact was so supportive and made me feel seen and appreciated as I navigated starting a private practice while dealing with personal bumps in the road.
The staff are helpful , responsive and supportive. They know what works for effective therapy websites and I ended up with a beautiful website that I am very proud of. The video tutorials and assistance during office hours are also helpful and I surprised myself by learning how to create and execute a google ads campaign with which I had some early success . And now I know how to run an ad campaign when I need more referrals It requires some time and effort on your part, but like anything in life, you get out what you put in. I’m very happy I signed up for this program. If you view it as a marketing course with homework and assignments you will do well!

TPA has transformed the way I conceptualize myself as a business owner. Over the past eight months, I have gained tremendous confidence as well as a step-by-step understanding of how to build my practice. TPA breaks down the complexities of this journey with a comprehensive and practical video training series. This is so helpful to refer back to throughout the process when I need to more fully absorb TPA's wisdom. The weekly hands-on virtual conference calls are personalized and have supported my ability to remain accountable, organized and on-task. Amy, Jeremey and Laila are such professionals. They offer creative and practical solutions that move you toward your goals. They have been consistently responsive and invested in supporting my group practice. All of my expectations for the program were met and exceeded by TPA. To truly benefit from the experience, I think it's important to clarify your goals and expectations up front. The program does a nice job of guiding you through this process and giving you a clear vision of where you want to go and the path to getting there. My experience in the year I have been in the program has been very empowering, learning how to do the work myself to build my practice rather than paying someone to do things for me (i.e., webpages, marketing) and getting mediocre results. Rather than giving me a fish to eat for the day, TPA has taught me how to fish so I can use the tools for the life of my practice. I was very reluctant to do organic marketing, but after several months I found it really helpful to make connections in my community and build a resource list for my clients. Now, when I am fully booked or receive requests that do not match my expertise, I have trusted individuals to whom I can refer clients because we have established a connection. The hardest part of the program is undoubtedly Google Ads. I also found it very frustrating to keep up with the changes that Google makes. However, in my opinion, figuring things out and making them work is just part of running a private practice. Every day, I encounter challenging issues to resolve, and I appreciate TPA's prompt assistance in devising solutions.I'm grateful to TPA's assistance in reaching my goals. I exceeded my goal of obtaining 10 to 12 self-pay clients per week. The goal was met seven months ago and allowed me to spend the time I needed to write a workbook for eating disorder and trauma recovery. It's being published by Johns Hopkins University Press next year. If you want to learn how to build a private practice, invest in yourself and join TPA. It's worth it.
