It took over two years to install a ramp to the front porch, and an additional three months to connect it to the door. The promised wall plastering has not occurred, aside from the kitchen and bathroom, despite it being promised decades ago. There are unresolved structural issues, and a mouse infestation has persisted for three years. They have failed to assist those with mobility issues in maintaining the garden, and they refuse to install a downstairs toilet or lift, even after being advised of the necessity. At least they addressed the damp and mold, but many serious issues remain unaddressed.
I have been facing ongoing issues with the service regarding flooding, repair arrangements, and poor communication. Despite numerous requests for updates on repairs, I have received very little information, even as the legal tenant. Administrative matters have been poorly handled, adding unnecessary stress. While some staff have been courteous, the overall service has been inconsistent and frustrating. I have had to escalate matters through my MP and the Ombudsman to seek resolution. This has been ongoing for six months, highlighting the need for the company to improve communication and responsiveness.
As a tenant, my experience with the service has been truly disappointing. There seems to be a complete lack of concern for tenant safety. The staff are unprofessional and show no empathy for the issues faced by residents. I am thoroughly disheartened by the company, and I know many others feel the same way. They have misled me multiple times.
The company has turned my home into a dangerous environment. I was attacked by a stranger at the entrance, and despite having the attacker convicted, my concerns were ignored. They buried me under paperwork filled with misleading information. After lengthy discussions, they acknowledged their incompetence but continued to fail in addressing the rising issues. I requested to be rehoused due to the unsafe environment, which has affected my family life. The mistreatment has persisted for years, and I recommend documenting all communications with the company for anyone in a similar situation.
The local housing service has been a complete disappointment. A blocked toilet has caused an overflow, and after three days, it still hasn't been repaired, despite being labeled an emergency. The call center provides conflicting information to avoid addressing the issue, which is unacceptable for vulnerable adults.
I am writing to express my serious concerns about my experience as a homeowner in a former housing property. Since moving in four years ago, I've faced numerous challenges due to the behavior of neighboring tenants, including anti-social behavior, drug use, and excessive noise. Despite countless complaints, there has been no resolution or acknowledgment of the problems, severely impacting my quality of life. Selling my property has become difficult due to the ongoing negative behavior of tenants.
