I honestly can’t thank Toughmuck Cleaning enough for what they’ve done for my elderly parents. Their home had become overwhelming for them, and as a family we were worried about how we would get things back to a safe and comfortable standard. From the very first conversation, the team were understanding, respectful and completely non-judgemental.
The deep clean and declutter was carried out with such care and professionalism. Every room was transformed — not just cleaned, but truly restored. They treated my parents and their belongings with dignity, explaining everything as they went and making sure Mum and Dad felt comfortable throughout the process.
A very special mention to Marie, who was incredibly kind, patient and reassuring. She went above and beyond to support my parents emotionally as well as practically. Her compassion made what could have been a stressful situation feel manageable and even uplifting. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her — she genuinely cares.
The house now feels safe, fresh and like a home again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toughmuck Cleaning to anyone needing a deep clean or decluttering service, especially for elderly family members. Truly outstanding service from a wonderful team.
I'm writing this in response to the review below by Richard Flynn Dear Richard, your property that it was seriously hoarded condition you agreed to the minimising of your property. And under our terms and conditions this was agreed Your statement below is completely false. Your daughter's asses were not thrown and so has your mothers. The food that was thrown was 5 years out of date. Everything in your room you agreed to throw with us. I would believe that your statement below is completely false They are there in the box which have been found You have not let us return to be able to clean the carpets and have cancelled this appointment with us. We have asked kindly for a return date which you have not given us. We did not squirt water into the sockets. Freezer was accidentally Not turned back on due to the fuses blowing in the property as your fuse board is the original old fuses and not an up-to-date system what We have sent you an £80 To cover the cost of the the items in the freezer and the fuses that were bought on the day anything from your bedroom it was agreed by you to dispose of as me and another colleague went through every single item with you and the only things that went in the bags were the things that you agreed we We totally get that your house was a hoarded house and parting with items is very difficult for you Thank you

From beginning to end It was horrific Eight people arrived I was overwhelmed I was told it would be sorted in to keep charity and sell and dispose how wrong that statement was they threw and took many items I said not to My daughter ashes she died seven years ago !My mothers ashes All cleaning materials washing liquids In date food Collectible items of value both personally and financial Gifts of the children’s one of which they saw a friend give them in front of the woman in charge supposedly called Marie The cleaning was poor They took a sebo and a Miele vacuum just been serviced !As well as irreplaceable items they left the carpet in the lounge the only one they cleaned stained and soaking wet They moved furniture which was ok They moved the freezer tore the Lino which they covered up by moving the table and bench around !! but didn’t switch the freezer back on so food was lost They squirted water in electrical sockets fused the lights and plugs and refused to clean the hall landing and stair carpet said it was my fault as the fuses blew when the out water in themPhoned the next day said after I complained re the carpet that they’d comeback but won’t have them back The whole episode I was looking forward to was a shambles they broke up all the furniture went in cupboards I’d sorted took clothes I was going to sell threw new and sentimental Christmas decoration away some of the children’s mother whose died and ones we’d collected and some of my mothers Took my new clothing left on the bed and top on a unit in the bedroom and bed Took my cosmetics a Christmas present That’s to name a few The whole experience has impacted on me and have been advised to see the doctor I’ve never felt this way this was about letting go but feeling violated The children are devastated by what they have taken from us This was something we were so looking forward to as our home had been trashed And wrecked by one of the children I had to place in care for our safety Through negligent support from social services !This was a way social services offered to help which was made the worst experience of mine and the children’s life I’ve requested to have their insurance details Donot use this company I’m not the only one to have this experience in the reviews

This arrogant female came to give a deep clean quote. Totally obsessed with decluttering, which means to her that her team would have carte blanche to remove anything they deemed clutter, and there are nice convenient communal bins on the premises to chuck my possessions into. "You have too many posessions, you must throw them away, I have twenty years experience, I know what I am doing", quoth she. At this point, I gave up. No point in trying to say that I rent a storage unit and could use it to store surplus items, or even trying to have a discussion regarding any issues. Like a ship in a storm,. batten down the hatches and wait for it to pass, as in a plaque I saw in a campsite reception "Everybody visiting results in pleasure, some when they arrive, some when they leave" Their claim that OAP's are treated with sensitivity and care is total BS
Zoe and her team arrived at our home to carry out a deep clean service. They were prompt, very professional and genuinely concerned that they understood our requirements. Within 4 hours they did an amazing job, leaving our home, including windows and carpets, sparkly clean. To say we were pleased with their work is an understatement. We would not hesitate to call them in again or recommend them to anyone. We were also very impressed with the price, very reasonable for the effort they put in. Well done Ladies and thank you.
From the first contact this company were professional, kind, understanding and discreet. They met me at the property and gave prompt advice followed by a price. We were asked to pay upfront which we felt comfortable doing. The job was completed on the day and was quite an undertaking to be honest. I had a deep clean, an oven clean, and 2 carpets to be cleaned booked for today. Lovely team of people who worked quickly and were done within 2 hours. Walking in, I was initially very pleased with their work. However, as the hours went on, I noticed a few things that I wasn't very happy about. My hallway rug had been turned over the wrong way; I thought this was a genuine mistake and flipped it back over but was met with horrible bleach stains all over it. I then went in to my son's room, and unfortunately one of his toys that had been on the windowsill had been broken. I understand these are genuine mistakes, but I wish I had been told. Not very pleased with the carpets. They are still soaked now, and whilst I understand we are in the winter months, I'm concerned that they will take a lot longer to dry and cause bad smells and mould. Also, they don't look very clean. On closer inspection, the inside of the oven isn't great either. I hate to moan, but I am feeling a tad disappointed.Just to add to this review. My carpets remained extremely damp and started to smell, so I had to call out another company to clean and dry them properly as my son who is 6, is extremely asthmatic and could not sleep in his damp bedroom. You will see below, only a fraction of what was pulled from the carpets today after they had "apparently" been cleaned yesterday. After paying £395 for the deep clean, oven clean, and "carpet clean," I've now had to fork out another £190 right before Christmas.This is unacceptable.
