Review Time
Each year I broadcast this same message....When will 1099-INT forms be sent? We've called 6 times and our information is not available. Employees state it's a different department and they can't even tell us amount of interest earned in 2025. I missed three appointments with H&R block waiting on TRANSAmerica to provide our 1099-INT form. Service sucks, employees talk around and dance around subject and after 45 minutes tell you they can't help. WHat changed? We used to call and they would e-mail 1099s that day. Now they state they cannot access 1099s or see the information. TRANS AMERICA was worst decision we ever made...same way with retirement deposit fund. They pushed the proceeds before we were even retirement eligible. They cleaned house and emptied the account to get rid of it. Terrible service!!!! SUCK Factor is 200%
I couldn't reach the office in the USA after two hours of calls, as all my calls were directed to someone overseas. Given the prevalence of scams, I am not comfortable discussing policies with someone in that location. Furthermore, about two years ago, I attempted to make a simple policy change for 14 months. I spoke to several representatives during that time, all of whom assured me the changes were made, but they never were.
My husband and I had a great experience. Our agent was very professional, friendly and knows his stuff. He explained the process and the next steps in a simple way for us to understand.We are very pleased with his involvement on our retirement planning.
We've been working on 2 policies since September 11, 2025. It's now October 31, 2025. They required a home health check, which was fine. The "nurse" they contracted to come out and take our vitals was incompetent! I had been to my doctor the week before, and my BP was perfect. When she took it, she had me nearly stroking out at 141/120...THREE times!! She took his BP and HIS was extremely high as well! Then she went to take my fiancée's blood, and commented that his "veins were small!" He lifts weights and his veins are FAR from small! She stabbed him 3 times to get something that SHE could work with! He went to the doctor the following week, where HIS BP was normal and the phlebotomist said that he has HUGE veins! Next, his application was approved within record time. I'm still waiting for them to send the request for records to Duke Hospital! This has been going on for over 3 weeks! This is incompetence at it's scariest!!!I'm cancelling his policy, and stopping any further forward motion on mine! Now, I just hope we get the premiums, which we paid back in September, back! Stay far away from them! They might have a great financial rating, but their customer service is beyond horrible!!!
Very bad experience with them has been horrible and you all need to stay away from them .Too bad they took advantage of my trust in them. Why isn't everyone talking about Grand scale 's trading these days? it's the only company I trust that always delivers on payments without fail.
