I purchased a trip with Travelo1 in June 2025. The airline switched our December flight 3 weeks before I was to leave to a date/time that did not work. Airline refunded their portion of the ticket. Travelo1 refused to refund their portion of flight that was never used. After talking to numerous rude and unhelpful customer service agents and 1 unhelpful manager, they did say that they would give me an ecredit for the amount not refunded. Attempted to use ecredit 1 month later and manager wouldn't use it on a flight that I found on their website. Instead wanted to use it on a flight that was $2200 more and still wanted more money from me. Agents are lying when other managers are in as I am still attempting to use these useless ecredits (almost $1700) worth. Please stay as far away from this company as possible.

Frustrating experience with flight booking

I booked flights through a meta-search site and was redirected to a service. After completing the booking, I was informed that the seats were no longer available. No ticket was issued, and my card wasn't charged. I received numerous calls from various representatives urging me to confirm over the phone and pressuring me to pay a significantly higher fare using an alternative payment method, while also suggesting an e-credit instead of a refund. This felt misleading. I decided to cancel in writing and did not continue with the booking. I would not recommend this service.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICES, NO MENTION OF STAND BY OR UNCONFIRMED TICKETS. A REPRESENTATIVE LATER CONTACTS YOU LIKE A BAIT AND SWITCH ONLY TO PUSH FOR MORE EXPENSIVE TICKETS. I CALLED BACK WITHIN 10 MINUTES ONLY TO BE DISCONNECTED WHEN I REQUESTED A REFUND.

deceptive practices. I bought a ticket, and after completing the payment, I received a call informing me about luggage fees. They stated that if I needed luggage, the ticket price would increase by $1100, while the ticket itself was only $800. The airline charges $100 for luggage.
