We have used Triver for over 1–2 years and until recently the platform worked fine. We had our credit limit increased multiple times, including a £20k increase just two months ago.However, our account was suddenly restricted without proper discussion. The reason given was “risk” due to our temporary use of our overdraft facility — despite the fact that this overdraft is a cheaper funding source and was being used strategically for short-term stock purchases.What is concerning is that this decision appears to have been made algorithmically, without reviewing our financials, management accounts, contracted sales, or overall performance. We have strong trading performance, unused facilities elsewhere, and reduced our Triver utilisation significantly in recent months.A funding partner should understand working capital cycles and stock investment. Instead, the restriction was applied abruptly, with limited communication and no meaningful financial review.Disappointing experience after a long relationship.
