The customer service is HORRIBLE. EXTREMELY long wait times awaiting service. Plus, some of the service reps can barely speak English.
I recommend using uDirect IRA for self directed real estate holding.
After receiving an invitation to discuss my frustration with this group of disconnected individuals, I hoped they had reconsidered their policy of selling crypto assets before transferring them. It seems absurd to sell an asset with such potential just to move to another custodial service. This approach risks future value and ties you to a service with unreasonable rules. When I called to inquire about this policy, I received nothing but a vague response: "just because"—no substantial explanation or logical reasoning. So, there it is... Please refrain from contacting me. I will reach out when I'm ready to part ways and sell my assets.
Even on expedited service, you still have to call in multiple times. Even with a dedicated rep I could not get a call back to get confirmation that things were moving forward. I finally called the general number and then that rep was able to conference in the dedicated person.
The DOI sat for 6 days until I sent an email and told them the IRN was wrong. No one even contracted or reviewed it and I am gold LEVEL. Also why do I have to retype and re upload the exact same info on a subsequent Draw Note. The person and property address is all the same and ETC already has the PDF loan files. We should be able to enter IRN and it pulls up everything except for the method of sending out the Draw funds.
