Horrible setup with bullies waiting for targets to exploit in whatever way possible- A lot on the estate agent services in united Kingdom.Their only aim is to collect the money from both tenants n landlord.After that no responsibility. Can't imagine recommend them to my worst enemy.
As a first time buyer, I had no experience of what the process would entail (and indeed how long it would take due to external reasons/delays.)
Despite this, Rebecca was responsive, supportive throughout and essential in moving the deal over the line. She explained much of the process patiently and was already available. I will also always be grateful to Gabor, particularly for his work on the final day for the ensuring the simultaneous exchange/completion actually went ahead. A long process but very happy to have a place to finally call my own.
We recently completed a particularly complex property transaction, and I can honestly say we could not have done it without the outstanding support of this estate agent.
From the outset, this was far from a straightforward sale. There were multiple parties involved, including the buyer, the buyer’s solicitor, a freeholder’s property management company, and my own solicitor. The legal aspects were complicated and at times slow-moving, with various queries and conditions that needed careful handling. Throughout the entire process the estate agents, specifically Gabor Szucsik and Rebecca Egbers, remained calm, professional and proactive.
What really stood out was their ability to coordinate between all parties. They kept communication flowing, followed up persistently (but respectfully), and ensured that issues did not get lost in the system.
They were often the central point holding everything together, clarifying misunderstandings and keeping momentum going when things could easily have stalled.
They demonstrated real patience, strong negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process. I always felt informed and supported, and they were quick to respond to emails and calls, which made a stressful situation far more manageable.
If you are looking for an estate agent who goes beyond simply marketing a property and genuinely works to see a complex transaction through to completion, I would highly recommend them. Their professionalism and dedication made all the difference.
Very very disappointed and let down by this agency not sure why they have so many branches. This is our first rental by all young individuals and teenager, it has gone horribly wrong.
From signing our tenancy, the process was very rushed. Since moving in , we have been here less than 4/ 5 months in October , we had a broken dishwasher, broke toilet, broken cooking hob, mouldy bathroom. No checks were done prior moving in so nothing was updated or refurbished. Now in February we are experiencing extreme mould which is making us sick. We have had little to no help from this agency as they claimed “it’s the landlords responsibility” and I don’t even know where they found this landlord.
We haven’t been taken seriously and disgusted in how this is how our first tenancy has gone. We will forever have no excitement in renting
I am a landlord. I had extremely bad experiences with Foxtons. Huge let down with very high fee and poor service. Always make false promises to the landlords and tenants alike and then backout once the tenancy goes through. Once they get their commision, they stop bothering with any problems arising.
I would never recommend them to any landlord or tenant .
This has been the worst letting agency experience I’ve ever encountered. I rented a flat through them, and I can say with certainty that it was a nightmare. At the end of my tenancy, the landlord attempted to wrongfully deduct over £2,000 from my deposit with completely unfounded claims, including £1,500 for “lost rent” and unnecessary cleaning charges. Instead of protecting my interests or serving as a fair intermediary, the agency did nothing. They allowed the landlord to present these absurd claims and withheld part of my money for over 6 months, despite the charges being clearly baseless. I had to resolve this issue independently through a dispute resolution service, where the adjudicator reviewed all evidence and determined that the landlord was entitled to £0.00. However, the agency still retained £180 of my deposit without any justification, even after the final ruling. I am currently pursuing them to return what is rightfully mine. The communication was lacking, their management of the deposit was highly unprofessional, and as a tenant, I felt overlooked, unsupported, and disrespected throughout this ordeal. If you care about your time, money, and well-being, I strongly advise staying away from this agency. There are many other agencies out there that adhere to the law and treat tenants with respect. I would never recommend this agency to anyone.
I had an exceptional experience with the company; they assisted me in obtaining my first privately rented apartment when I needed help the most. Despite lacking some requirements, they guided me through the checks and helped me secure the apartment I wanted.
I rented an apartment through the service at a certain location, only to discover that it had a troubling history, including previous occupants involved in illegal activities, a bathtub that had collapsed a year prior, and a wall that had fallen down. To make matters worse, the place was infested with rats! Additionally, the representative I dealt with was completely unresponsive when I arrived to find no electricity in the flat. I truly hope your experience with the company is as unfortunate as mine has been.
Our experience has been fantastic. We were assigned a representative in the Canary Wharf office who guided us through the process. He was incredibly supportive and made everything enjoyable. He assisted us in finding a property quickly, relieving us of a lot of stress. The responses were prompt, and the service was very dependable. I would definitely recommend.
