Hello, my name is Tony Dedman and I’d like to share a little about uCertify. As an Instructor at our college, running a class of often 25 or more, I have found that uCertify has a very well designed method of curriculum presentation that both allows me to instruct directly or one-on-one with the students. Our Account representative, Akbar, AND THE ENTIRE SUPPORT TEAM are always quick to respond, assisting in every way. In addition to that, uCertify works with us to streamline course pricing which dramatically helps our students who are generally facing financial struggles as they prepare to get ready for their first job by LEARNING AND earning certifications.NOW - Operationally, the uCertify platform has been one of the best in LMS platforms for adding students and tracking their progress online. The Study Planner and Custom Tests are exceptional tools and all of this integrates very well on the backend with our institutional LMS where we use D2L. WE REALLY APPRECIATE uCertify!

My review spans my experience with uCertify over 20+ years, and I'm sharing because they have been instrumental in the work we do in grassroots communities around tech education. I think this could help others as they think about helping people from nontraditional educational backgrounds find their way within the tech sector. I am the founder and president of Urban Ed, a nonprofit organization that's based in Washington, DC that I started 25 years ago. We work with children, youth and adults using technology as our tool for creating change in communities from technology workforce development to technology education in general for children. Not too long after I started Urban Ed, I actually met Deepak and came across uCertify and this was maybe about 5 or so years after starting Urban Ed and we've been partners ever since. And what Deepak and his team has done, well all of them at uCertify as we’ve grown up together, as I’ve watched them grow just like they've watched me grow over the last 20 plus years : ). It's been phenomenal and been a true support to what we do here at Urban Ed to help serve community. We have literally served thousands of people and uCertify’s platform has helped us be able to extend our limited instructional staff capacity due to funding limitations, but still maintain a consistent 80% plus track record with people getting certified and going to work and we give a lot of that success to the support that we've received from this platform. What I love most about uCertify, is it is a comprehensive tool with flash cards, quizzes, with the labs, the e-book, and all of that has been very vital to us and how we like to train and make sure people can get this highly technical content. We work with those that are totally new to IT, so what the uCertify platform has brought to the table is exactly what we needed to get people from green to actually on the job. Most of our placements have been with government contractors because we're here in DC and with a major IT firm. So, we're appreciative about having met them so many years ago and I just wanted to share our experience as finding effective partners that bring value to the table in our training delivery is harder to find. So, Deepak, and the whole uCertify team, we so appreciate you guys even now that we've built our own customized LMS (learning management system) using Moodle, you guys, with your forethought on integration, LTI and deep linking, I think we were one of the first to do full implementation of it, made it seamless and extremely easier for us to integrate all of our own learning tools in one place, track our success and that of our students. So, Urban Ed, personally thanks you guys so much!

I am a Professor of Information Technology at a community college. Our college uses uCertify courses for many of our technical classes in the IT program. The courses align well with CompTIA exam objectives (which is an important factor for our program), and they integrate easily into our LMS (Canvas). Our Manager of Instructor Care, Vartika, is very responsive to questions, requests, and issues, and always helpful. Students have a positive experience with the platform including lessons, quizzes, virtual labs, and flash cards. A mobile app is also provided. The products are reasonably priced in the higher education world and are up to date.
