I will be Demanding full refund and compensation."I am writing this review after an incredibly stressful and, ultimately, dangerous experience with Eco-Worthy. This goes far beyond a simple faulty product; the actions of their staff put my safety and property at risk. My solar system kit arrived in August, but the panels were delayed until late September. When they finally arrived, two panels were dented, and one was completely smashed. I accepted a small partial refund for the dented frames to move forward, but the replacement panel was of completely different, and frankly, bad workmanship. Eco-Worthy told me I had to keep it as long as it worked. After finally getting the system set up in October, the battery kept going into BMS protection mode. I discovered through my own research that it needed calibration, a critical step that was not included in Eco-Worthy's incorrect and unsafe instructions. After performing the calibration, the battery entered protection mode again. My research indicated a faulty cell, and for my own safety, I disconnected the system. My attempts to get technical support from the UK team have been completely ignored. The representative I spoke with multiple times via WhatsApp did not understand the technical issues, refused to connect me with a qualified person or a manager, and ignored my requests for a full refund and compensation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The situation turned dangerous when he asked me to "swap the cables around on the multimeter," a request I later realized was extremely reckless. I followed his instruction, and a spark came off the batteries, followed by the smell of melting plastic and a puff of smoke. His incompetence nearly caused a fire and could have severely injured me.I immediately ceased all communication and demanded a full refund and compensation. His response? An insulting £30 offer for the multimeter. Eco-Worthy's products are not fit for purpose, their instructions are dangerous, and their customer service is willfully incompetent. They have ignored my consumer rights at every turn. I no longer trust their products or their staff. I am now seeking formal legal advice and have reported this incident to the relevant authorities. This was a significant purchase for me, and the emotional and financial cost has been immense.
