I haven’t been paint balling yet, but with regards to the booking process I had a lot of queries. There was a WhatsApp number to message with questions and Andrew was amazing at responding. I overloaded him with questions and he responded quickly and efficiently and with care. Thank you!!
Beware! *I have just received a copy of UKPaintball's reply to my review*Their insistence of misleading people in these review forums is unbelievable! I have an email from them saying in no uncertain terms that the only thing they would do after cancelling my 10 yr old son and his group of nine friends birthday party with two days notice was a refund. They did not offer any gesture of goodwill and the offer of an alternative venue was an hours drive for most of the nine families affected who had all made plans, had childcare booked and were committed to the date and time. I am taking the company to small claims court to seek compensation for this situation which was entirely avoidable and is not the first time this company has canceled parties which such short notice. My advice is please book direct, this is not the venue taking the booking its what I would say is a opportunist trying to make some money between the venue (which I believe to be very good) and the paying customer. In my opinion this company will let you down and leave a bad taste regarding how they lie on review comments and mislead the public about the facts of the situation. I have copied the reply to a review which is false, 'While we appreciate that the cancellation of your session is frustrating, we would like to point out that the claim that no apology or compensation was offered is incorrect. Your group were apologised to several times by our colleagues, both on phone and email. The group were also offered an alternate venue (20 minutes further travel), as well as a £75.00 refund as a gesture of goodwill ****this is a blatant lie, this did not happen and I have emails to prove it**** and to cover the costs for the additional travel. Given the additional petrol costs would be approximately £15 - £20 for the group, we felt this was a fair offer'This is a lie, they never offered any compensation and the alternative location was on a different day and over an hours drive for the ten families that had been planning this event for two months. I have an email from UK paintball saying they were unable to offer anything other than a refund for the cancelled booking. This was sent a couple of days after the event was due to be held. I am taking them to small claims court for the costs incurred of having to re-book a child's birthday party with two days notice! not great and even worse that they have lied on this review site, I have the email so feel able to make these claims and can back them up with proof.
