Review Time
This is the second time I put in an order within a year period and never got my item. The first time was a purchase, was charged and ended up that they didn’t really have the item on stock. The second order was lost and now I am trying to see if they would send a new one and get it delivered successfully.
5 ft. 10 in. fit American here. 180 lbs. and I lift about 3-4x a week. This is relevant because I placed an order for (5) tops: (2) jackets, (2) sweaters, and (1) short-sleeve button-up shirt. A couple in size Large, the rest Medium. The guys/models in the pictures were all 6 ft. or taller and wearing size Medium, so that's what I ordered, thinking that since I'm 5 ft. 10 in., that'd run slightly loose if anything.Wrong. They were all airtight. I had to return half of the items I ordered. I placed a replacement order for size Large and just got them today - even then, they are still pretty tight. I get that they're supposed to be like they're fitted/slim fit, but it looks and feels like skinny jeans, except for tops if anything. Plus return shipping isn't free so that's another $7.95 or so, and a trip to FedEx.Based on my experience, I'd say that anyone who's +/- 2 in. from 6 ft. can & should order Medium if they're thin or built like the average marathon runner. But if you lift and don't want to look like a dudebro who's intentionally wearing multiple sizes down, order a Large so you won't have to return stuff. As far as quality is concerned though - top notch in my opinion. Just a shame that they pulled all stores out of Southern California.
My experience has been great. I can use my terminal at pop up events or in store. I also like that I can view my items on my square app on my android phone. Setting up my online store, which I did recently, was easy and gave me confidence in offering an easier way to order from my business.
Customer support is not very helpful. We are waiting for a week to hear their opinion on our business' compliance with their terms of service. No reply via email, not even 'we are working on your request', chat support keeps promising an update in 1-2 business days, and it's been almost a week. Makes us consider what it'd take to fix a real issue, should it happen.
Square is the most out of the box available for Blind or handicap people. It just has some restrictions on text size, reverse mode background. Stands block airflow to iPads and limit sound for speech. Also iPads batteries tend to get hot in stand.
