Review Time
First, the order took 10 days to even ship out. Then, something happened with the driver...some excuse about the wrong driver picked up the delivery? I received an email stating that my return was being processed because the item was the wrong size. Only problem is, I never received the item. Once I finally got a human on the chat function, they were barely apologetic when they informed me that the driver returned the item and arbitrarily filled in some lie on the return form. She informed me she would refund my shipping and that I would receive an email about it, which I never did. I had to reach out again to get my shipping refunded, I have yet to see that hit my account. One of the most ridiculous online shopping experiences I have had. I was going to reorder the item once I was fully refunded but the item was a gift and the ship has sailed on that one. Thanks for not only being a HUGE hassle but also leaving me giftless for the recipient.
Square continues to lie about their illegal marketing and has the power to remove reviews by Trust Pilot who I no longer consider neutral. I've told Square a million times to end the practice of sending emails unethically but they continue to do so thinking they can remove negative reviews which they have the resources to do. They are bullies. Square is a liar, because I never provided these businesses with my email address, only they could have supplied it and given implicit authorization to use the email address. I've only ever given my email address to one merchant by accident and now I regret it. I needed a receipt for my job and did not know it would result in years long battle with Square who repeatedly bullies me to get reviews removed, reporting my review as fake. Trust pilot allows these wealthy companies to bull doze us. Shame on all of these corporations with power.This is a response I got back from a business owner whom I rated for sending unsolicited emails:Hi! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Our intent is to only send emails to individuals who subscribed to receive email notifications from us. It's a bit complicated overall, but we've now learned that the issue is related to our POS system provider (Square). We are in the process of fixing this so that future emails only go to individuals who have made that request. Sincere apologies to you; if you'd like to email us at ..... we can also assist in making sure that you do not receive future newsletter emails from us (or any other Square businesses).UPDATEAfter years of bullying me and making Trust Pilot go after me, they claim they are improving their processes and blame poor merchants for the unsolicited emails. SQUARE GAVE THEM MY EMAIL. They could never have gotten my email otherwise. I never provided that so this means SQUARE IS LYING AGAIN and blaming merchants for this unethical practice that should have them fined. I will be reporting this to the FCC and BBB. I avoided doing this because I don't want them to have my contact information as they are not secure or trustworthy. But after lying about their part in this scheme, I don't care. They need to be fined.
Account got Deactivated saying I violated one of the general agreements and payment agreement. I read through both of the agreements and I believe I did not violate anything. I called to ask why my account was being deactivated and all they could say was I violated an agreement which I did not. I asked several times what I violated and the would not give me an answer. I also asked if there was a way to appeal it and they said no. I would not ever recommend square to anyone they deactivate your account for no apparent reason.
SQUARE SCAM ME! I open a Square business savings account after transferring funds from my personal savings account to Square. Square deactivated my account the following day, denying me access to my funds for a period of 90 days. It's crucial to note that this transaction has nothing to do with CREDIT CARDS or OTHER people. Square had No security reason. I'm seeking clarification from Square regarding the specific reasons behind withholding my own funds in this situation.
