Review Time
After Christmas, I discovered that my card was being declined at local stores, which was quite inconvenient. While online transactions are still possible, I'm limited to just a few before my account gets locked for a day. I opened a new bank account and switched my direct deposit, receiving a new debit card promptly. However, when trying to transfer funds to my PayPal debit card, I faced an unknown limit. After a few small transfers, I was locked out again and incurred a fee, which was frustrating. When I contacted customer support to resolve the issue, I was required to send several documents to verify my account. I was informed it would take several days for someone to review my request and approve the fund transfer. This process has been incredibly frustrating.
Having worked for a company that managed this service, I found the customers' understanding of it to be quite lacking. It's important to note that this is not a traditional bank; it's a prepaid debit card without the ability to transfer funds into a bank account, lacking routing and account numbers. Many customers seemed to struggle with basic internet use, and some were elderly or faced literacy challenges. I'm relieved to have left such a frustrating environment. I worked at a location that added to the overall poor experience. I strongly advise against using this service; it poses significant security risks. Opt for a bank account instead for safer transactions.
I can't drive, so I rely on online and phone payments. My card was declined despite sufficient funds. After calling, I was told I used my card online too frequently and to try again later, but the issue persists. I shouldn't have to spend more time and money on a new card; a class action lawsuit seems necessary.
I was supposed to receive a new card on the 19th, but it never arrived. After days of calling, I still have no card to pay rent. A representative laughed when I mentioned my rent. They provided conflicting information about the card's issue date, and customer support is unhelpful. I'm considering switching to a different bank due to their decline in service.
I attempted to reach Customer Service about a delayed $131 refund to my SSI account for a canceled purchase but couldn't get through due to a busy system. The automated response was frustrating. For those relying on SSI, $131 is significant, and the lack of effective Customer Service only adds to the stress. This service has a poor reputation for responsiveness.
The company restricts how individuals can use their SSI funds, denying payments for many locations and products. If your payment is declined, resolving the issue with a representative is nearly impossible. I am switching my SSI deposits to a new checking account due to these ongoing frustrations.
It's frustrating that there are strict limits on money transfers. Funds are held pending for days, unlike other services that process transfers much quicker. This company needs to adapt to standard practices and stop controlling users' funds. I will be moving my money elsewhere next month.
I tried to submit ACH documents to transfer money to my new bank, but my request was denied without explanation. I was assured I would speak to a manager but never did. This company puts unnecessary limits on transactions, and their service has been incredibly disappointing. I plan to close my account soon.
