A business that uses 'Final Notice' letters in unsolicited communications to peddle their product is at best questionable and at worst a scam. If I were to consider paying for home insurance again, I would exclude this service due to their unprofessional scare tactics.
This is the worst warranty service I've encountered. I spent 30 minutes on the phone just to file a claim after my air conditioner broke in the scorching Arizona heat, only to have my claim denied due to a policy renewal waiting period. The customer service was poor. Don't waste your money.
This is a scam operation. They offer no protection for anything in your home. Trust me, do not choose this service. My washer broke, and they never replaced it. I canceled my policy, and they failed to refund my money. They claimed I needed to cancel within 30 days to get a full refund. I suggest setting aside funds for home repairs instead of relying on this warranty service.
After three phone contacts, this service continues to bombard me with scam letters. They claim it's for a home warranty, yet I informed them I don't own a home and their information is incorrect. This is a bottom-tier scam operation. Do not share any personal information.
I received a notice stating I needed to pay for a home warranty quickly, assuming it was legitimate as I had just bought a new house. Unfortunately, this was an outside group misrepresenting themselves as the company I had already purchased a warranty from during my closing. I mistakenly sent payment, only to discover I had signed up for a 22-month contract costing nearly $5000 for a warranty I already had. Do not give them any of your money; they misrepresent themselves.
I'm glad I checked the reviews today. I received a letter from this service and assumed it was the same company others have criticized. The letter lacked an address but included a phone number and customer ID. While they listed my mortgage company, I don't recall which warranty company I might have signed up with. If it was this one, I believe my warranty should have expired before 12/31/24. It's been over five years since I closed on my home. Most warranties expire within 1 to 3 years! After reading these reviews, I plan to ignore the letter. If I did use this service before, this is the first contact I've had since my home closing. I think I'll spend my money elsewhere.
If you receive mail from this service, just disregard it. No matter the content, it's likely a scam. I dealt with a lot of hassle because they misled me into thinking I needed their service. Do not provide any bank information or card numbers. Just avoid them; if you've already shared info, contact your bank immediately to report it as fraud.
