NO STARS deserved. I hired this company to create/design a new logo for my business. Everything went well with that. While completing the logo, I constantly got asked about website design. Many times I said NO... was not interested. They were persistent.. finally I inquired. What is the cost, what does it entail and so on. They offered me to do it at $499. I asked the sales rep if there were ANY other fees above that $499. He said no. I went on to explain that I pay my current website maker/company a monthly fee and asked if I would still need to pay that. Again, he stated no, this would be a ONE time fee and that was it. Thought that sounded good.. didn't need to may monthly for a website any longer so I agreed and paid the $499. Everything was going ok.. choosing the design, providing my content and so on. Then we go to the end... They asked if everything looked good to give the green light to go live. I started asking questions on how to upload my own photos, how do I edit content if I wanted to change verbiage etc. That's when the truth started coming out. YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM MORE. OR they say you can continue to pay your current "Host" and pay for your current domain. I explained to them that I asked point blank if I would need to continue to pay my current site and/or would there be be any additional fees above and beyond the $499. I was told NO. Due to this, I requested to be refunded as this company was not upfront and honest about their services. The logo design went smoothly and is great, which is a completely separate transaction than this. But as far as using them to build a website for you? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. They say that it's a "given" or "of course" you need to pay for your current domain. They make it sound like I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. How would I have known that when I asked if would need to continue to pay those and they said no? They refuse to refund me a FULL refund. They have called twice, which I answered and they just continue to to sell me on "how much they can help me market".. I didn't hire them for that. I hired them to build a website and they failed due to not communicating honestly. They gaslight you to thinking it's your fault that you don't know what a domain or host is. I don't.. but THATS WHY I PAY PEOPLE. So if you are going to be in the business of web design, you should be very clear and upfront on ALL costs. While going back and forth with them on the refund, the start emailing me screen shots of the emails they send AFTER I paid them stating I would need a domain etc. Sending disclosures AFTER you pay someone means NOTHING. When I asked point blank about additional fees PRIOR to submitting payment and was told NO there would not be.. I should not have been presented with additional fees. I have never dealt with such a dishonest company. You should also not try to keep selling an upset customer. This company is joke. If you want a logo they do alright with that. But DO NOT hire these people to build a website.
I had a hard time finding a service to create my logo, but I was fortunate to discover a great option. The representative was very thorough and dedicated to the project. Communication was excellent, and any concerns or changes were handled promptly. Overall, the experience was wonderful and the service was reasonably priced. I’m very pleased with the final product!
