From the initial contact, through to the trial of the product, was a great experience. No pushy sale from Fran. She was friendly and clear in her sharing of information. Debbie (our local rep) was also great, taking the time to come to our workplace and meet with the team to answer questions and to demonstrate the product. On the back of this, we are now looking to roll out the safety glasses company wide (UK).

Having had issues with other company safety boots I started using Uvex2 boots about 8 years ago and have found them never to need breaking in, comfortable and light, as a Master Technician I wear them for 12 hours a day on concrete.Having experienced a problem with the top hooks breaking I found Fran and her team sympathetic and helpful in the extreme resolving the issue to my complete satisfaction ,so I shall continue using Uvex boots and comfort insoles - as a diabetic the combination makes for happy feet😊
I bought some uvex Phynomic Allround for general work, where they perform well, but found them awesome as general gym gloves.Comfortable for wearing for over an hour, provide that additional grip and comfort, and barrier from other people's 'ick' on most bars, free weights, and resistance machines.Note: would not recommend for any specific sport, or heavy lifting where other factors may need to be considered.
I reached out to Uvex because I needed a pair of safety glasses for a fairly specialised use case. I wasn’t sure exactly which model would suit best — I might need anti-fog for indoor use, UV protection for outdoor jobs, and a comfortable fit for long work days. That’s when I spoke to Fran (Francesca) Magari from their customer care team. She went above and beyond: took the time to understand my working conditions, liaised with colleagues in Germany, and helped me pick a model that meets all necessary safety standards for my tasks. The pair she arranged perfectly matches what I needed. I’m genuinely grateful. As for the glasses themselves: Uvex does what few others manage. Their design isn’t just about ticking boxes on safety specs — it’s about wearer comfort, practicality, and longevity. The polycarbonate lenses resist impact while being light and clear; the frames fit snugly without pressure, and the glasses stay comfortable for hours. They’re reliable for daily use, whether in workshops, labs, or outdoor work sites. If any brand deserves the title “professional-grade safety eyewear,” Uvex does. And if there was a star rating for customer service, Fran would get five stars too.Why I’ve Chosen UvexUvex safety glasses are engineered to meet rigorous standards (EN 166, UV400, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses).Their anti-fog, scratch- and chemical-resistant coating technology (uvex “supravision excellence”) makes them far more durable and low-maintenance than typical cheap safety glasses.Comfort and ergonomics are clearly a high priority: soft-grip arms, metal-free frames, and designs that allow combination with other PPE (e.g. earmuffs, masks) make them much easier to wear day after day. If you’re looking for safety glasses that offer real eye protection, long-term comfort, and reliable durability, Uvex is a smart choice. And if you get help from someone like Fran / Francesca Magari, you’ll likely end up with exactly the right pair for your needs — not just a “one-size-fits-all” spec. It was unfortunately that I lost my glasses and can’t seem to find locally to me but I would definitely like them again
I have now purchased two pairs of safety boots from this company worth over £100 each. these have both completely broken down structurally within a year. I have emailed them and their supplier but have had 0 response both times!Do not buy these products, they are very poor quality the interior of the sole is made of a foam wrapped in a thin (approx 3mm rubber) there is no way this will protect you from sharp piercing objects in construction
I had a fantastic experience with Lucie. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable — she took the time to measure my foot properly and recommended the right size boots along with high-arch insoles. Thanks to her expert advice, my new boots fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I had been struggling for a long time to find boots that fit correctly, and now I can finally enjoy my work without any discomfort. Truly grateful for Lucie's help!
After speaking with Francesca Magari about a PPE query, I read her blog "You really need to Hear this …." and while it was not all news to me (ive been in H&S sometime) I found it very engaging and informative and really covered the subject of hearing protection so well.
