Poor phone support

The individuals handling phone inquiries lack basic customer service skills, often interrupting and talking over you. It’s disappointing to see veterans and their families treated poorly by those in service roles. It’s disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, and I plan to escalate my concerns further.

Transportation issues for veterans

As a retired veteran, I haven’t used the services much, but I have mobility issues. I requested transportation to a facility, but I was informed that I don’t qualify because my health issues aren’t service-connected. It’s frustrating to feel undervalued as a veteran.

Absolutely Horrible

Absolutely Horrible! With a capital H! This department should just get rid of everyone and start over, these people absolutely do not give a damn about Veterans in fact I think they do things to contribute to the Veterans suicide pandemic. I was given a rating of 100% because of my disabilities which prevent me from working full time. This continued for about a year, I was finally able to afford living and was able to just make it. They then decided to pull the 100% and move me to 90% for no apparent reason. They then sent me paperwork stating that they may have made a mistake and are looking into it. Now before I go on I need to say the difference between 90% and 100% is over 2k a month. So a YEAR later I’m still waiting for someone to tell me what the hell is going on and if they corrected the mistake. Nothing! The people that you can call have absolutely no idea why this happened and can’t give me any sort of date of when this will be looked at. Now here is the real reason why I’m upset, In the YEAR that it’s taken so far, I lost my house! My credit score went from perfect to absolutely horrible, I had to file bankruptcy and am now being chased by the IRS for back taxes. I have 3 young children whom I had to uproot because of these incompetent fools. I also had to start taking more meds because trying to work full time with my disabilities is absolutely horrible. My VA doctors are infuriated that this happened. This department should be ashamed of themselves but they aren’t because they don’t give a crap about Veterans at all! 0 stars from me. Ridiculous!!!

Yes I've been trying to access the V.A..gov web site for 2 hours trying to find out about labs from a C.P.exam 9/18/2023 because someone from V.A. called around 7:00 p.m. last night didn't here the phone due to my hearing my wife tells me I have a message it's the V.A. it's very unusual to be called at this hour by then so I went to voice mail and they didn't leave a message called back some night operator answered explained that there was no message he tells me ow it problem there scheduling un appointment how does he know making what ifs about there were calling me about speculation what he was doing told me to call tomorrow which is this A.M. already it's 3:19 A.M.9/20/23 haven't slept all day night thinking shoot it the call must really be important maybe they found something that is bad like cancer or got diabetes again which I don't understand stand that one had it now I don't that's what the doc at the C.P.exam tells me it goes away if your body starts it's own insulin the Dr pharmacist told me two years ago that didn't have to shoot up anymore it's been two years stoped going to the V.A. for about two years because they have jeopardized my life twice serious won't get into how but meanwhile back here at home at 3:28 this morning there's a lot going through my mind from that none message call from the V.A.and am very worried that it's not good all night thinking how will ibtell my wife my grown children if it's bad new how will i handle and proceed if that is the situation here i am worried as hell wondering depressed pissed you name it i got it having to sit here going over what am going to do if I call the V.A. I don't know who called they didn't leave a message I Have P.T.S.D. with proof which buy the way I been denied almost 15 years had to hire a attorney someone needs to be responsible for making me go through this and it has to start from the top dam it hate these people for there making me go through this and the waiting for claims with proof all these years and feel real sorry for the ones that didn't survive and there families still having to pick up the mess the V.A. has made and no one is being accountable for the deaths of our previous few and there families how sad this has become for the ones doing the necessary for the ungrateful am my self i am ashamed to have served and ashamed to be a american for this ungrateful nation enough has been said Roy S Valdez U S.M.C.Sad

their service is so good..They have saved my life.They took care of my cataracts and anything I have needed..I read these bad reviews and shake my head..

I have reached out to the va on 3/3/23…

I have reached out to the va on 3/3/23 and was on hold for 44 minutes and after a few brief questions i was asked to hold for 1 minute and abruptly hung up on.. I called back and waited 42 minutes and this time a lady said hello and abruptly hung up on me.Against my better judgement and recommendations from fellow servicemen not to bother, I reached out and they make me feel like they are doing me a big favor and I am bothering them and also makes me feel like I have to beg!!!!! I am done with this!!! Thanks for nothing!!!!!I really doubt this review will go anywhere!

my bank acciunt closed and there is no one to help me they couldnt update my bank account number or re-route my money to a new bank account. This is the only money I get and now Im homeless and hungry. This has cause me more stress than anything. Horrible service and system
