They lure cosplayers into paying for photos at there studio but dose not explain the full terms and conditions They also have 0 regards for mental health of physical health 8% in bad ratings 3 bellow on here and 1.7 star on another platform. This is what happenes when you inflate with good reviews to hide the bad.They also lie and will attempt to get this removed!
My friend and I did a photo shoot together and we had a great day. The team all did a great job of hair, makeup (I've got cheekbones - who knew?) and nails and Keiran doing the photography put us totally at ease (I hate my photo being taken normally!) and the guy talking through all the photos and making choices at the end was great too. All in all - great staff and great day. Thank you.
Avoid this Company!!!I was approached in the town to buy a voucher being told the full amount was £50 (I imagined they’d be a persuasive sell to buy more prints later which I would consider at the time) I was then told when validating it & booking you had to pay a further £50 deposit that I could cancel at any time. I paid it but I was miffed as I couldn’t afford that money at the time & stated I was not made aware of this booking deposit in the first instance. The guy on the phone clearly said it was £50 upon hearing my unsureness to continue and that I could cancel at any time. As my voucher was about to expire & I felt put on the spot I paid the amount. Then look at my account and they’ve taken £100 without my permission! I’ve now asked for the FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit back and they are now saying I could gift it to someone else when I’ve clearly stated I’m in financial difficulty as a result of them taking more than agreed & want my money back. It’s 2 months before the booked appointment and I just want my money back. There’s lots of good reviews on this company and I’m unsure why there are not more bad with the obvious mis selling & the deceptive experience I have had from the off.
We had a wonderful experience at Vanity Studio!All the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The makeup and hair team did a fantastic job — we looked and felt amazing! Our photographer captured some truly beautiful shots and made us feel completely at ease throughout the session. We’re absolutely thrilled with our photos and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Highly recommended!
Could not be happier with how the photos turned out! My photographer Bernardo really took the time to make sure the character came across well, and we spent a lot of time getting the lighting and the angles just right to create the best look each time, which I really appreciated. Whilst the experience was pricey, I'm really happy with the shots we got!
Horrible Experience at Vanity Studios!!My friend and I were excited about our day at Vanity Studios after being approached at Pub in the Park. We were sold on the idea of a fun photo shoot, so we each paid £40 and made a £150 deposit to secure our date.When booking, we were advised to bring different outfits, so we packed two changes of clothes. We planned on using just one free picture that came with the package and couldn’t afford an extra £100 for more photos. Upon arrival, we took photos in our two outfits. However, when reviewing our options later, the technician informed us that to get our £150 deposit refunded, we needed to have four outfits each. This critical detail was never communicated to us while booking! When we complained, we were told it was mentioned in the T&Cs email they sent. After rereading the email, we found no mention of needing four outfits, only to go into the actual T&Cs. We were devastated and in tears because we simply couldn't afford to lose that £150!This experience has left us feeling frustrated and misled. I would not recommend Vanity Studios based on how we were treated and the lack of transparency.
Absolutely amazing! Make up and photoshoots can be a little intimidating, but right from the first minute we walked though the door everyone was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel comfortable. My business partner and I went for hair, make up and photos for business and some fun ones too. Danny the photographer was so professional, friendly, helpful and basically a real top-level expert. There are all things we feel self conscious about on our own bodies, but his guidance and chilled out approach not only gave us confidence, but also resulted in amazing pictures that really blew my mind! The team are friendly and everyone really took the time to get us the best out comes. Loved my hair and make up. The whole experience was just such a joy and I came away feeling a million dollars! Thanks so much Vanity Studios. We will be back!
