Specifically my loan agent Kaitlynn was fantastic. Great personality, who was attentive and proactive throughout. We had issues with our closure from the sellers side and Kaitlynn was the only person in the process who made it doable. I could not recommend her or Veterans First Mortgage more highly. I am so happy to finally have my first home of my own thanks to them.
I first contacted Veterans First a few years ago when seeking and comparing pre-approvals on a property I was interested in. The bid I submitted on the home wasn't accepted. Though the seller engaged in negotiation, they ultimately chose to let their home go to their lender.Fast forward to the present:I found myself "The Right House". I remembered how pleasant and attentive Janelle had been, so I contacted her again. She immediately remembered me and my circumstances. She made the financing process as smooth as could be. Even while passing me to her colleagues while she went on maternity leave (congratulations Janelle!), she still stayed engaged with my case to ensure that all the loose ends were tied.
Kaitlynn Mattinson was so easy to work with and what I thought was impossible she made possible for me to secure a home loan. This took awhile as the home itself was tied up with the IRS longer than expected but she was very patient with everything that kept delaying the closing. Today it all came together and we closed. Kaitlynn was on top of this like a guard in Arlington Cemetery at the tomb of the unknown soldier.
I worked with Adam Freedman. The experience was great Adam stayed in close contact with me the entire time. Ensuring any bumps in the road got smoothed out. Although we're separated geographically, he navigated without issue. The property I purchased had multiple lots and multiple owners. Making it a little harder to work through. Adam even spent some of his vacation time jumping through hoops. He did a great job, and I appreciate it.Casey D.
