Oooo my. Where do I start. Denitra Cosby Is so amazing!! Even though it took a little longer than expected with a few bumps in the road she went above and beyond. She treated us like we good friends or family. There are not many people out there that respect their clients they way she did with us. This was our first home and she had our backs and best interest during the process. If we have any questions she will be the first one we reach out to. And when we reference she will be the one we work with!!! Hands down we will recommend Denitra Cosby
It is amazing that there is someone in the service industry that is so conscience as to start their day at five in the morning just to follow-up on a commitment. Clearly, she could have waited till the start of her day, but no, her initiative demonstrated that I was working with the company who really cared of living up to their commitment on service to their clients. I cannot compliment her sufficiently on her dedication and worked ethics. I firmly believe that my acceptance was based on her efforts and attention to details and responsiveness to meet the requirements. My compliments to Veterans First the company for retaining an employee of her caliber and more importantly to Rula Haddon, who’s efforts, made it happen. Thank you.
I am very pleased. I felt other Loan Officers wouldn't bother to even help after I explained my dilemma on the timeline. It took some work, but the communication was great we were able to successfully get the loan. I also built a report with the man. Thank you Veterans First.

My recent experience with Veterans First Mortgage and Wintrust was surprisingly outstanding. I was surprised because I’m retired and so my experience with mortgage companies and other financial institutions has not been good. But any company is only as good as the people who work there. In this case Mike Sanders and Danielle Gonzalez make the process clear and efficient.
Lee Camblin, was an excellent help with my refinance. I used Lee in the past but, for some reason I tried a different VA company ( big mistake). I was getting the run around, every week there was something else they needed. So I reached out to Lee at veterans first. To my surprise Lee still remember me. I told him what I was going through and he was ready to help. I decided to stop working with the other company and went with Lee again. ( He should of been my 1st call, lesson learned ). Lee walked me through the whole process. He always answered his phone calls and text. Lee was always 1 step ahead of me. He explained all paperwork and documents I needed. I spent over 2 months with the other company,running in circles. Lee had my loan completed in just a little over 2 weeks. . Lee's hard work and determination, he seems more like a family friend than a loan officer. He really cares about doing right for his Veterans. Thank you Lee Camblin. You'll always be my 1st call. Excellent service and speed. I'd definitely recommend Lee and Veterans first to anyone looking to buy our refinance. They get thing done fast and correct.
