Mario told me for three weeks I would qualify for a loan. Firstly, the interest rate he gave me was 6.5 at the highest-then when it went on paper it was 7.3. Almost $20,000 difference with a 30 year loan. Then he continued to keep me confused and not answer calls and emails from the real estate agent, or the home insurance company. The person doing the appraisal also had trouble communicating. I have paperwork saying I was approved for a loan and closing on the first, but now ten days before closing, he leaves me a voicemail saying he will not be able to cover me and has to cancel the loan. There is so much fishiness to this company-idk how they got the reviews they have but I will be sharing everywhere I can.
This has been the worst finance company I’ve ever dealt with. Not only were they over a week late on the financing that was promised to close on a house, but the person I was dealing with would not answer the phone or return my calls. Communication was horrible, and I was lied to multiple times.At the last minute, they changed the numbers around, trying to charge me significantly more in points and fees than what had been agreed to. They also promised to cover additional costs that came up because of their delays, but they never did.Ultimately, I had to cancel the loan and go with another lender, which caused even more delay and stress. In my experience, Veterans First Mortgage was dishonest, unreliable, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.
Personalized Service:The personalized service Rula provided! She maintained direct contact (text/phone/email) through out the entire process! With less than two weeks from the time I reached out to Rula the loan was closed! I had an out of country trip scheduled to Tokyo for 7 September, returning 23 September, with her help all paperwork was done and loan closed on 5 September, 9 working days from the time we started the process. Absolutely an amazing job—Thank you!!
