Stayed here for 3 months. Pros: no separate bills, everything furnished, and Anmeldung was possible right away. Location was good for transport. Kitchen and bathroom are shared so you have to be okay with that, but I met some nice people and it felt pretty normal WG‑style. Staff responded eventually when I needed help

a single star is too much for my expirences; almost everything is in terrible condition. There is a gym, but it's completely empty only couple of staffs for pictures to share to rent rooms. The company's service and follow-up on issues is practically non-existent. Everywhere is very dirty. The common areas are always dirty, even if you keep them clean, others don't follow the rules, and the company offers no solution. Fast internet is impossible; you're lucky if the internet even works properly. If your work requires internet access, be prepared for multiple long-term outages every month. 70% of the washing machines don't work, so you'll have to wait a long time, maybe even days, for them to be available. After checking out, there's a high chance you won't get your deposit back for no reasons. If you decide to stay here, be prepared for nightmares. I did handover all the things same as I get but without my presence 2 weeks after check-out they sent me email about stains on mattress and said They'll charge me for it. also I'll wait for two months to get my deposit. is there any logical answer why I m waiting for 2 months. well that's quit unprofessional. so didnt want to waste my time with arguing and prove something. no good service exist for this company at all.
Stayed here for 4 months during my internship. The room is clean, the internet works fine, and all utilities are included — huge plus. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but that’s normal for Berlin. Overall, very happy =)
I stay here around 5 month now. Room is not big but fine for single person, furniture was already there when I move in. Internet always very good, never problem, for work and video call perfect. Kitchen and bathroom are shared, sometimes not super clean because of other people, but this is normal WG life. Rent include all bills so I don’t need to think extra payment. Anmeldung was possible without issue. Location is also nice, U-Bahn and shop close. Staff sometimes slow to reply but they fix finally. For me it was good choice when I arrive new in Berlin.
Not only, had I a broken bed for almost a month without anyone fixing it, but the Wi-Fi was also not working for the entire month of August. Nonetheless, they proceeded to charge me with €160 off of my deposit for a stain that wasn’t even visible in the photos they sent me and they did the same to my other roommates. I genuinely believe that these photos are not even from my room, but I’m guessing this is their policy to earn more. Considering how much they charge for rent, doing this to students is beyond embarrassing.
Village-M are the most unprofessional landlords I have ever dealt with. They have zero regard for their tenants and show no concern for the state of their facilities. They also discriminate against their tenants. For example, when tenants move out, they can leave whatever they want in the shared kitchens—such as rotting or stale food—and those who remain are left to clean up the mess.If you enjoy dirty apartments and drain flies in the kitchen and bathroom, this is the place for you.
Be very careful with the deposit. They make you pay almost €1000 as a deposit and then send you an email saying they will deduct €200 or €300 for non-existent damages in the room. They sent me photos where the pillow and duvet were supposedly stained, but absolutely nothing can be seen in the pictures. On top of that, they take advantage of doing the check-out without your presence, so they can literally make up anything and charge it from your deposit.I am very dissatisfied despite the fact that the stay itself had been very good.Be very careful!
