The policies regarding subscription extensions are quite confusing. Trying to extend my subscription 45 days before it expired was frustrating, especially with unhelpful support. Moreover, the subscription price has risen by 200% since I registered my domain.

Tricky practices for extensions

The practices regarding extensions are quite tricky. You can only cancel 45 days before the extension date, and they do not send reminders. The extension also comes with a significant price increase. When I raised a ticket about this (44 days before the extension), I received no flexibility and a rather unfriendly suggestion to 'check the policies on our website.' These practices feel exploitative, and I cannot recommend working with them.

I encountered unexpected issues when my domain was extended 45 days before the end date. When I questioned this, they stated they wanted to avoid the risk of unpaid extensions. I had already provided my bank details for automatic payments. It's puzzling why other registrars manage this in under a month. It seems they try to lock you in sooner at a higher extension fee, which I find unacceptable. Consequently, I consider this service untrustworthy and have moved all my services to a more transparent domain provider.

Very dissatisfied – Poor support and unwanted renewals

My experience with this service has been very disappointing. Their customer support has been unhelpful and slow to respond, often providing vague assistance. Worse still, they automatically extended my domain without prior notification 45 days in advance, which feels like a deliberate attempt to lock users in. There was no clear reminder or option to opt-out before the charge. When I attempted to cancel and request a refund for this unwanted renewal, they refused. It seems there is no flexibility or consideration from their side. I do not recommend this service to anyone seeking transparent, customer-friendly support.

Very satisfied with the web hosting

I have been very pleased with this web hosting provider for several years. I have encountered no issues and have had positive experiences with their customer service. I recently inquired about a matter and received a prompt response. I was unaware that I needed to cancel a domain name (due to automatic renewal). They were accommodating and allowed me to cancel, saving me €64. Thank you!

Deep dissatisfaction with service

I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received. As a loyal customer for many years, I have always paid my invoices on time. In January, I paid €100 as usual but mistakenly paid a small remaining amount of €20 too late (5 weeks late). Now, I am being charged €150 to reactivate my account, or else my email and domain will be non-functional for six weeks. This is extremely frustrating, especially since I've sent several emails asking for help but received no meaningful support. I feel compelled to pay the €150 just to regain access, which seems entirely unfair. I would appreciate it if this situation could be reviewed urgently for a fair resolution.

Beware of unexpected billing

If you purchase a low-cost domain for €2 to try something out, be aware that even without an automatic billing address, you may receive a bill of €71 45 days in advance without any warning. They claim it's to ensure service reliability, but they don't allow immediate cancellation. These practices seem deceptive, and judging by other feedback, the service is not great.
