Tried to charge me a $30 subscription fee without my knowledge. They did refund the payment because I saw it. I definitely would not recommend using this service to search a VIN.
You set a trap with the $1.00 deal and then every month you charge $29.95 without my consent or authorization. You did this 3 times. This is deception of the highest order. I have already reported you to BBB and will report you to whatever regulatory agency that can oversee your activites
The site advertised $1.00 per VIN, but during checkout, I encountered details about a trial and subsequent monthly fees. I reached out to the support team for cancellation, so I hope they follow through. Additionally, the report was disappointing. It claimed the vehicle had zero owners, despite the fact that I know the seller purchased it a year ago, and other sources had more accurate information. Most of the content in the report was just generic details about the make and model.
This platform merely provides basic facts about car makes and models that you can easily find elsewhere for free. The details it offers about specific vehicles are highly questionable—it completely misrepresented the mileage on mine and significantly undervalued the vehicle. Moreover, it charges a dollar to collect your payment information, which it then uses to enroll you in a subscription costing around $6 monthly without your full awareness. For a genuine and comprehensive VIN report, I recommend using a more reputable service. You truly get what you pay for.
Experiencing difficulties with being directed to this page. I don't believe I should have to write a review to access my information after making a payment. Will I need to wait a couple of days for this to be resolved? I had to find this page myself.
Beware! Bait and switch! They advertise “Absolutely free VIN lookup”. Is definitely not free at all. You give your vin number they run a report, then they want your email address (so they can sell your info to every advertiser under the sun), then they ask you to pay for it!! I would provide the screenshot of their ad if I could but that’s not an option on Trustpilot when leaving this review. At least not from my phone.
I've tried to contact them. they never answered. I was charged for a subscription that I never had. I didnt even have an account setup and still charged. customer service is terrible. I seen stuff that said about refund if you dont like and I haven't had a refund
