As the gym's popularity increases, staff must ensure users behave considerately. There are too many people absorbed in their phones, using equipment for purposes other than training. Some even bring tripods, which should not be allowed. Instances of dropping weights disrupt others, and the rising temperature feels uncomfortably warm. Hygiene standards need improvement. The staff are friendly, but they need to address issues proactively. This is the key difference between a basic gym and a well-managed facility.
With the gym's growing popularity, it's crucial for the staff to encourage considerate behavior among users. Many individuals seem more focused on their phones, using equipment for reading and chatting instead of training. There are also instances of tripods being used, which is usually not allowed in reputable gyms. Additionally, some members drop barbells, causing vibrations that can disturb others exercising nearby. The temperature has increased since I joined, and 24/25 degrees feels quite warm. Personal hygiene could use some improvement. While the staff are friendly, they need to address issues rather than ignore them. This is what separates a standard gym from a professionally managed one.
The trainers are ineffective and display discriminatory behavior. They selectively enforce rules on certain members while ignoring others, often in an impolite manner. A trainer specifically targeted me at the behest of another member, and this was not the first occurrence.
This has been the most frustrating gym experience I've had. On holiday, I wanted to maintain my fitness, so I paid for a day pass. There are no water stations to refill bottles unless you pay, and there's no air conditioning, with the temperature currently at 31°C. The equipment is outdated, and there's no cleaning supplies available. Overall, a waste of money.
I suggest thoroughly reviewing all details before becoming a member. At the end of the month, they offer attractive promotions but make you sign a contract without clear information. If you don't cancel your membership via the app, they start deducting money from your account. If you spend time at the reception, you'll see many others complaining about the same issue. This seems to be their way of making money.
I had a similar experience to others. While staying in the area for 17 days, I signed up for a month-long membership. I clearly communicated to the staff that I only needed it for one month, yet I was charged again in August. They do not respond to phone calls or emails. If this issue isn't resolved soon, I will consider legal action and inform others about their practices.
