Do not use! I had the same experience as all other reviewers. Wish I had looked at reviews before paying them for the one off transcreation I needed. They keep trying to take money off my account, there is no way to cancel directly, as they say we need to cancel through their ecommerce platform (another provider to which I have no account). Then I deleted my account and that still didn't work. Asked my bank to block them and that still didn't work. They don't even have the company on Linkedin as clearly don't want to be inundated with complaints via that channel. Avoid at all costs
This company’s billing practices are extremely misleading and unacceptable. Even if they claim that the automatic renewal is written in the terms and conditions, I did not receive a clear, separate confirmation or receipt for each individual charge. There was no transparent notification before the recurring payment was taken, and no proper invoice sent at the time of the charge. Hiding behind “it’s written on the website” is not enough when the subscription terms are not presented clearly and prominently during checkout. In addition, the cancellation process is unnecessarily complicated and far from straightforward. It is difficult to locate where to cancel, the instructions are unclear, and the overall experience feels intentionally confusing. I was charged approximately $80 without using the service even once. In my view, despite the wording in the terms, this feels like a scam.
Got scammed from this fraud company. I did one transaction for $1 on Jan 20th for single voice to text conversation last month and never signed up for any subscription or anything. Just straightforward $1 transaction, no terms and conditions, nothing accepted. I didn't even create an account for that one time use, i just fed my email. While I was reviewing my credit card stt today, I noticed there was a charge a week later (on jan 27) for $65 for a subscription I never signed up for. I have sent an email to this company and will be filing a dispute if they don't refund the amount. So much scam on the internet now a days, hard to trust anything. Very disappointed. Scammers like these are everywhere. Terrible people.
SCAMMERS!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!Took out a trial. Tried to cancel that trial before i was charged, guess what! No way to cancel it on the website. Charged me 40£. Politely asked for a refund which was declined.For clarity, under UK consumer protection law, subscription services must provide cancellation methods that are clear, transparent, and easily accessible. Where a consumer attempts to cancel before a charge is taken and the cancellation process is unclear, hidden, or unreasonably difficult to access, any subsequent charge may be considered unfair.In such circumstances, taking payment after a cancellation attempt can be challenged as an unfair commercial practice, regardless of standard trial or auto-renewal wording in Terms and Conditions. Consumers must be given a genuine and straightforward opportunity to cancel before a paid subscription begins.
DO NOT USE THEM! I was charged for a $49 subscription despite only being aware of a $0.50 charge. They put subscription details in the terms and conditions only and don't explicitly tell you that they will charge for a subscription. VERY IMMORAL and unwilling to refund.
What a scam. Like many others here - you pay a one off fee of £0.50 for one transcription...great so far. Then no receipt, no email, no nothing and you get hooked on a subscription for almost £40! Then if you want to cancel is says "go to your account settings" once you're there it says you need to go to Stripe??? I feel so taken advantage of - do not use this service. I have emailed them with this grievance - let's see what the response is.
It was not helpful whatsoever, it was a waste of my time AND despite for a free trial, after it was over they charged me $49 for a MONTH SUBSCRIBTION, which is disappointing, highly expensive, and a total rip-off. I mean I've seen sites like this one that are better and they charge reasonable monthly subscribtion. I do not reccomend this site to no one, and if you do subscribe, then I absolutely feel sorry for you.
