I know Wagg treats have their drawbacks, especially when it comes to ingredients. Given that Toast's main meals are of high quality, I've made an exception for Wagg treats as an affordable, occasional snack. However, my recent experience with Steaklets has left me dismayed. Upon closer inspection, I found plastic-like fibers in the treats. Regrettably, this was not the first time, as I previously encountered the same issue with the low-fat turkey treats. Although I took pictures, they cannot be attached here. The fact that such treats are available for purchase is nothing short of disgraceful.
We started off using Wagg Complete Puppy food on our 6 month old dog, as he had been on it before. He was underweight and didn't seem able to put it on with this and his poos were loose. He really liked the taste; we liked that it was a reasonable price. The vet said all complete puppy foods have the correct nutrients, but we then looked for one with more protein to help him gain condition. So if your pup is at ideal weight and their poos are ok and they like Wagg, then yes, it's great value. But for us it wasn't the right food.
I have a very fussy eater border terrier. She absolutely loves any sort of these treats. We noticed when giving them to her she was more fussy than usual and would go through periods of shaking. For 2 months we stopped giving them, her appetite improved and we offered natural treats ie chicken.Yesterday she was given wagg steaklet treats and she has the shakes again and is off her food and very lethargic
I Purchased some Wagg dog treats for the use of using in my training school. when I came to open 1 bag it was all damp and stank of ammonia.Contacted there customer services and to get a refund ONLY they wanted proof of purchase I think they thought I stole them so therefore calling me a THIEF.I will NEVER use Wagg dog treats again and have told my classes to stop using them as well as the customer services don't give a dam about there customers or the products they send out.Its MONEY MOMEY MONEY
