I had never used WeatherPromise before

I had never used WeatherPromise before. I decided to purchase the policy before we went on our vacation. As it turned out, it did rain for most of our trip. I was contacted by WeatherPromise and told that my refund would be coming. The refund procedure was a little tricky for me because it involved using a program called Stripe of which I was unfamiliar with. I contacted Tobias from WeatherPromise and he worked with me until I felt comfortable with compliance. I was refunded within two days. This is a great program. It works beautifully despite my hesitation. And the personnel involved in the process are fabulous at response to emails and messages. Highly recommend.

Such an easy process

Such an easy process! Our entire weekend was rain 15-20 mph wind. The weather was terrible and we were not able to enjoy outdoor activities. So thankful I paid for weatherpromise!

SCAM! Do NOT use!

It rained all 3 of my 3 full days of vacation. Weather Promise only deemed 2 days as worthy of being labeled as “rainy”. EVEN THOUGH their own documentation showed precipitation on the the 3rd day for eight out of eight hours… However, they are claiming that in that 8 hours only 1 hour was “proven” to meet the .04 inches of accumulation (the requirement is 3 hours of .04” accumulation). Read the fine print everyone! THEY ARE A SCAM!!! I even had HOURS of video documentation of the rain.., Clearly, I could not enjoy my vacation day when it was “precipitating” for 8 hours! However they deemed because their “weather experts” from the area did not agree the accumulation met their “criteria”. The company does NOT want to fully honor their commitment to their customers. DO NOT USE THEM.
