Disappointing Valuation Process

I was initially offered £435 for an iPhone 15 Pro Max in 'good condition.' After testing, they claimed it was in 'pretty good condition' and reduced the offer to £270. That's £165 less than the original offer for just a minor difference in condition. If it were in average or poor condition, I could understand, but this drastic cut for a slight downgrade is unacceptable.

Complete waste of time - avoid at all costs.

Complete waste of time - avoid at all costs. They take too long to acknowledge receipt and offer an unreasonably low price. Save your time and sell more quickly for a better deal elsewhere. Steer clear of unreliable sellers. This was my second experience - despite my better judgment since they had used similar tactics on me previously. Considering that 20% of the reviews are negative, it’s quite concerning.

Reduced the value drastically and misrepresented the phone's condition

Significantly lowered the value and stated the phone was in poor condition despite it being perfectly fine. Fortunately, I recorded a video before sending it, so I expect to get it back in the same state. If not, I will pursue further action for any damage caused by the staff!

Misleading Trade-In Offer

I was initially offered 320 for my trade-in, but they returned with a mere 90. They claimed there were scratches and damage, but the device had been in a case the entire time. The service was awful, and I incurred costs to retrieve my phone. I strongly advise against using this service.

Initial Offer Discrepancy

I was initially offered £150 for my phone, but then they came back with a mere £55. It's shocking because my phone was in good condition with just a tiny mark on the side. They claimed it was tested and rated as pretty good, which I disputed. After retesting, they rated it as good condition but only offered £75, despite the original quote being £150 for a good condition phone. It feels like they are taking advantage of customers, knowing many won't want to deal with the hassle and costs of returning the device. I strongly advise against using this service.

Avoid this service - completely untrustworthy and frustrating!

This service is untrustworthy - steer clear! Initially, I received a fair quote for a high-end phone in excellent condition. However, the situation deteriorated quickly. Their counter offer was less than 40% of the original quote! They falsely claimed my phone was damaged and tried to back it up with a video that showed a different device altogether. It was as if they thought I wouldn't notice. When I confronted them, they stubbornly insisted my phone was in poor condition and offered a meager increase. I rejected this and requested the phone's return in its original packaging, even agreeing to pay for insured shipping. I was anxious, fearing it might arrive damaged, but thankfully it didn’t, likely because I had documented evidence of its condition before shipping. It's alarming to see a rise in similar experiences and negative reviews lately, suggesting a possible change in management. This service cannot be relied upon and should be avoided; there are safer alternatives out there.

Avoid this place unless you want to be taken advantage of

I cannot recommend this place to anyone unless you're okay with being taken advantage of. I had a quoted price for my phone, sent it in, and they claimed there were issues (which weren't true as I had it checked beforehand). They lied and reduced the offer to an insulting amount. I rejected the offer and had to pay to get my phone back, which came with additional damage. This situation needs to be addressed by the appropriate authorities.

Deliberately damages devices to lower trade-in value.

They intentionally damage devices to assess them at a lower trade-in price. I sent my device in almost pristine condition, having owned it for just a year, never dropped, and always protected. I was initially offered £250, but after they received it, they claimed there were scratches on the screen, body, and camera. I insisted on having it returned in the same condition I sent it, and upon receiving it back today, I found scratches all over the screen that were not present before, along with significant scratches on the back camera, although the body remained unchanged. It appears as if they have scuffed it with sandpaper or a rough surface. I plan to escalate this issue because this service is a scam! I have photographic evidence of the device before it was sent to them, and it needs to be addressed.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I wish I could rate this lower. I sent in a perfectly functional phone and was initially quoted 670, but they later offered only 500, claiming there was wear and tear under certain lighting. Their customer service was laughable; the phone was in excellent condition, and it felt like they expected me to just accept their lowball offer. I strongly advise against using this service.

they reneged on their original offer which was originally £320 + bonus £15 down to £180.
I requested my phone back as it was in A1 condition , always had a cover and screen protector on from new.
when it was returned it was missing its charging cable and original contents in the box.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
