Samsung Galaxy s24 offered £395 when they recieved it it was down to £335 and then £345 when i spoke to them It was a brand new phone, I purchased for my wife, it was too big for her, so I boxed it back up and sent it to webuyanyphone. They said Bezels has noticeable wear, Rear Housing has light wear, Screen has light wear I photoed it before it went so not sure what I am going to recieve once they send it back to me. Issue is if you send it and they say there is noticable where when there was not and I get it back with notibal ware how can you prove it even with photos
Avoid this company at all costs! Sent my iPhone 14 pro max offered £310 this phone was immaculate has screen protector case etc absolutely no issues messed me around then said that there is wear to the bezels, rear of phone and screen etc offered £250 just a complete joke told them send it back to me I sold the phone to another company that had no issues agreed phone was in perfect condition. Scammers and made what should of been easy a stressful situation
Well, here's what went wrong for We Buy Any Phone.
You claimed wear and tear on essentially a new phone.
It had 2 month of use as it was immediately replaced by a Fold 7. There are photos of the device before it was sent out to you. Remarkably on receipt you video it with supposed wear.
It was interesting in the video you made, you were sent a clean phone and your video covered the screen and ports with dust.
I am interested to know if this could be considered fraudulent trading activities?
I know money is hard to come by, but is it right to achieve this by possibly scamming customers?
It was very disappointing and a lesson learnt to read the real reviews.

Unfortunately this video doesn't show any significant wear and tear that would justify a practice of 22.95% reduction in price. We would welcome you policy that outlines this consistently for consumers and clear objective photographic evidence to document expected condition and how it strays from this.
The phone had a screen protector which was removed prior to sending. It was unused due to having a new phone mere months after getting the S25 ultra. I am not sure how showing dust on the screen equates to wear and tear. As the other wear and tear you seem to be stating does not appear obvious. Moreover, just as a matter of process, how are you even able to show that this is the device if you aren't confirming the specific imei? It's like a car company showing me the video service progress of my car without showing the plates.
I know your business has to make margins but I also know that this is the exact same phone that when you resell, you'd be marking it up as "like new" or "pristine".
BTW, the rejection was out of principle of honest trading standards not being met. It was the principle of claiming a 22.95% damage via wear and tear where insufficient level to that nature existed.
If you mentioned what you realistically would pay for this type of device, that gives consumers informed decisions to send to you, rather than suggesting higher offer rates, only to, as several reviews below show, significantly reduce the offer price. Many will just agree because you have their device and you risk losing or damaging their phone further on return.

These people mislead you. They offer a price and then low ball you. Considerably. I was offered 130 pounds. Went to the trouble of sending to them. Phone was flawless aside of its age. They returned with an offer of 25 pounds. Am waiting for them to return. I would not recommend this company.
Quoted £320 for my iPhone 15 in good condition. Agreed and posted as requested in originally iPhone packaging plus bubble wrap. (Until now all comms were in texts and emails.) I then got an email (No text message) saying my device was faulty and the price was revised. The revised price £0 with no option to reject the offer, but a lovely disclaimer giving me 7 days to respond to it, or the revised offer is automatically accepted. (Very Poor Practice.) Would not allow me to live chat whilst logged in. The chat would open and then instantly disconnect. I had to go inPrivate, not logged in, and via the contact us page, which shockingly got me an agent in under a minute. (As this is the only way to say no to their revised proposal, blocking someone on the offer page from talking to the team is a complete joke. Checking online others have reported the same thing when logged in.) and don't even bother trying to call. You'll spend 20 minutes on hold and get no where. Eventually spoke to a chap on live chat who was very polite and helpful. Once we had spoken he arranged for my phone to be returned. I took the phone to another company who tested it, marked it as good condition and gave me the same amount offered by WBAP. Would not trust this company, and certainly will not be using them again. If you use this company keep a close eye on your emails as they will stop other comms to allow your revised offer to sit there and run out the 7 day clock.
Anuj (the customer service assistant) helped me out a great deal. He was fast in his replies. I was initially unhappy with the offer I received but after speaking to Anuj, we were able to come to a settlement.
Rejected an offer due to the massively reduced price originally offered and paid for the phone to be returned.
Low and behold the "pen" on my Samsung S24 ultra was now broken.......hmmmm strange.
I took photos of the phone (and pen) at their request prior to sending which clearly shows the pen was not broken.
Seller beware!!!
For a phone that has never been out of a phone case in the 18 months owned, was deemed average, despite me taking photos of the phone from all angles prior to submission showing good condition, however a reduction of £125 was applied.
Needless to say, I rejected the offer and now have the privalage of spending £10.75 to get it back.

They took my phone by saying I'd get money within 2 days. After taking the phone, after a week, they gave me a new price that was lower than the actual price and showed me there was light wear on my phone, even though I sent it in flawless, excellent condition. They're scamming people by taking phones and making false promises.
I sent my nearly new smartphone in for a fair price of £580, but they only offered £480 despite it having a perfect battery. This seems to be a common practice for them. Additionally, they charge for returning the device. I would recommend looking for other options.
