Good temporary WiFi solution for our new business. Connection was decent most of the time. Not the fastest or strongest and very occasionally dropped out, but overall did what we needed it to do with very minor drops in service. We couldn't have got our business up and running for the first 2 weeks without it. Would recommend to anyone who needs short term WiFi in a pinch.
Zero stars. We hired a mobile wifi dongle, and it arrived with an incorrect charging cable (they supplied a USB-C and not a mini USB) so the dongle ran out of battery; the little battery it did have, the wifi did not function correctly and the wifi was showing red. We use these mobile wifis for events, so we really a charged and fully working wifi. They provided neither. On top of that: the customer service doesn't operate on a weekend (email only) and then they proceeded to ignore the complaint and say that there was nothing wrong with the wifi dongle. I requested a refund but they have refused to refund anything and still hold my deposit, despite sending the Mobile device back to them on time. I've never dealt with such a bunch of amateurs and crooks.
SO bad. They charge me £114 for 14 days. When the hub arrives it hardly works, I cant even load a page quicker than 10 minutes.They ask me to send them a speed test, which I do, and obviously it reads terribly. They send me out a different device, which they posted out late because they are useless.Then, I ask to not pay the full price for the previous week where they wasted my time and money, they say no because technically I had intermet.Rubbish.
Note WiFi hire ends at 1pm on the last day of your hire - this was not made clear before purchasing so we were without wifi for half a day.Additionally I had to chase the tracking number for the delivery, and it assumed I had not posted the device back (they tried to make me pay a late fee) instead of asking me for the return tracking number.
Our plusnet was down for 7+ days due to a storm and as a live streamer who rely not only on a constant connection but a really strong bandwidth, I was pushed to do some urgent research. I was not disappointed! These guys got me a 5g router out same day and my live streaming (even through OBS) was well supported all week! The value of their service far outweighed the cost! Easy return with a label pre printed when I was back on line. My business never missed a beat! 5/5* thank you!
