on a regular basis it disconnects from my internet along with reverting back to the opening screen without warning. I have called customer service several times and tried several different things but i don't feel I should have to keep rebooting the Tablo, unplugging my TV and plugging back in, unplugging my router and plugging it back in. As I'm typing this it has disconnected twice. Junk !!!!!!
The product initially worked as expected however at some point the router would not power up. Went to the website and online and tried every suggested remedy.
The product was 6-8 months old and completely failed. Attempted to contact customer service via email and received on response.
The unit that I purchased was obviously defected and the company ignored contact.
I was having tiling on the screen so I moved my antenna from the bedroom (north) to the living (south) . Glad I thought to move the antenna, all tiling went away! Sometimes it locks up but I just restart my TV and it connects again. Overall, minor problems and so glad I don't have to pay $114.00 a month for DIRECTV anymore.
I've had a legacy Tablo device since 2018 and it has worked fine all these years although it is fairly slow to start and switch channels, but it worked. I bought the latest Tablo 4th Gen. device only to find that it does not work properly with some Roku streaming devices. This apparently is a KNOWN bug but they give no warning about this on their website in the purchasing section. They blame Roku but I have several different Roku devices and the Tablo Legacy plus my other streaming services work fine. I was forced to pay the shipping to return it for a refund and 10 days after they received it (12/9), I still don't have my refund.

Cable tv prices made me go to tablo tv. Now, tablo tv is making me go back to cable tv. Tablo is very messed up. I wake up every morning out of bed, but before I put my feet on the floor, I ask myself, what will be wrong when I turn my TV on. Will tablo be working, I ask myself. 98% of the time, tablo isn't working.
