If you need customer assistance, either by phone or email, this company is unreliable, unorganized and not worth the hassle. I had questions about products plus I had to make a return. When I reached out, a person wasn’t available to talk on the phone (only robots) and via email the same questions were asked over and over again pertaining to the order by a Eufy employee (or maybe it was a robot). If you need real help via getting information from an employee, this is not the company to buy from. Plus all shipping return fees are the customer’s expense and I still haven’t seen a credit for the returned item in my account.

Bought the Eufy pro cam 2C cameras and they do NOT work. I have contacted Eufy/Anker about the ongoing issues of the cameras not detecting motion etc on my driveway but will send me continuous alerts for every vehicle that drives by my house. I have changed the sensitivity, created and activity area etc. I have done every single suggestions given to me by their customer service rep and their Tech department. Nothing works. I have adjusted camera location still it does not work. In addition the solar panel does not keep battery charge. It’s been weeks since I have contacted Eufy/Anker and initially was told it would 3-5 business after sending proof of purchase, data /video log, recording of my vehicle on driveway showing no alert and/or recording by camera etc. I was told that their highest level in their Tech/IT dept would get back to me with resolution etc to date nothing. I have sent a follow up emails only to be ignored and still have cameras that doesn’t work properly as advertised. The second camera will show partial recording for example it will alert someone going into my backyard or at the side of the house but not show or record person leaving and vice versa. I had to manual charge camera even though I bought solar panel for charging. These cameras are not cheap and thus Eufy/Anker should acknowledge their customers concerns and offer solutions. Be careful of buying these cameras.

Difficulties with interference on my wifi network. It seems the only work around is to add another 2.4 gzh wifi network to my house - one that only broadcasts 2.4. This is a huge pain. Cameras continually lose connection. hopefully the 2.4 networks resolves it - which I will install tomorrow.

The cameras the physical selves are fine. But when it comes to the app. It’s absolutely disgraceful. Takes forever to load live views. Sometimes misses key events. The indoor cameras will track someone until out of view, but then stay in that position and not return to the middle. But the most annoying is the app itself and viewing live. Sometimes taking over 2 minutes just to pull up a live view. My system is a year old and I’m ready to bin it.

What kind of rubbish is this? Now will have to contact them, not impressed at all. Time consuming which I don't have time for.

Disappointing camera quality and frequent failures

The quality of these cameras is subpar. They require replacement every 12 to 24 months. I've experienced solar panel failures on two devices and water ingress issues, including one of the so-called 'pro' models. The warranty lasts 12 months, and the response from the support team is that they are working on quality improvements. However, I haven't seen any progress in the 3 to 4 years I've been using them. I won't be purchasing any more, as the overall system is too unreliable.

Avoid ordering from the official website with steep discounts.

Steer clear of placing orders through the official website that offers significant discounts. It's better to purchase directly from a well-known platform. The shipping is from overseas, and I ordered on January 5th but have received no updates on my order status. There has been no assistance from the support team, and the carrier has not responded. I anticipated delivery within a week, but it has been ten days now. I'm giving one star only for the discount.
