Difficult to give a single score, so I’ll split into a few categories:1) Customer service 5/5: rapid delivery and rapid return of deposit. Very good.2) WiFi coverage 0/5: not necessarily the suppliers fault, but we had no coverage at all in our home. My phone works (EE) very well, but the service provider for this device was Three - who had woeful coverage in my area.2) WiFi router 2/5: old and battered. But do not know if it is an effective router as the coverage from Three was awful.Unfortunately I wasted £50 for a weeks service. Ensure Three has good coverage in your area before selecting this supplier.
I wrote an earlier review and the company replied. They used the same 2 excuses as they did with me in my dealings with them. The first excuse is that it's related to the towers connection. I know that those around me had no trouble with their devices on the same network. I was also in 3 different locations and find it hard to believe that over 4 days in 3 locations I encountered tower issues.The second excuse is that I did not contact them within the hire period with issues. - How can I contact them where there is no phone number provided and I have no service? The correct way to have handled this was to have looked into the usage on the device, see that it was barely used, and refund the money. Instead I received the same repeated stock replies to my inquiries. If you look at the 1 star reviews, you'll see the same repeated themes, It has been looked into, bandwidth and tower issues, did not contact during hire period. I do not think it's unreasonable to request a refund on a product that did not live up to the advertised claim.
I ordered 4 WiFi for our event. Our event started on 12 September and we had to use devices on 12 September, my order was starting on 12 September. But they delivered devices on 13 September around 1300 (middle of day). They don’t refund, we couldn’t use devices on the day, it’s not acceptable and ethics.
We needed temporary wifi for about 3 weeks and found wifi hire . I thought the price was rather expensive to be honest but when you actually weigh up your other options it wasn’t the most expensive . Did a little research on the company and decided to give it a go . We couldn’t have wished for a better service , the router came on time and worked perfectly , our deposit was returned within a couple of days of me sending the device back which was impressive . I did contact customer services one time to ask a question and they responded pretty much straight away . Stress free experience but a little expensive . Hope this helps 😀👍🏼
Device arrived promptly and worked well, allowing me to continue working from home whilst waiting for permanent internet installation. Easy to send back, no issues with obtaining the refund of the hire deposit. Price is comparable to peer services.
