So sick and tired of the hassle and time wasted every time I try to access my pension with this company. I will actually be moving my money elsewhere not because of the Investment Manager or the fund performance but because of the antiquated, clunky way these buffoons fumble through their role. JPM its not you, it's not me, it's them....although why you use them I have no idea!

Had a horrible experience managing partial transfer of my workplace pension to standard UK based SIP

Had a horrible experience managing partial transfer of my workplace pension to standard UK based SIPP provider (Hargreaves). In the name of protecting customer and following some unnecessary rules, they deliberately delay the process as long as possible even though HL is fully compliant with FCA requirements and there is zero risk of Scam.

First of all their process is fully paper based and even they claim to follow electronic process (Via Nova) the starting point is to get a quote and provide wet signatures of member as well as receiving scheme provider.

They then send you additional forms (which are not necessary unless the transfer is to an overseas pension scheme). They are also required with wet signature.

Then they take 10-12 days to liquidate funds and generate cash to transfer to new scheme.

In my case, they closed the request for transfer from HL SIPP without informing me until I chased causing a further 20 days delay.

Willis Towers Watson - a brilliant way to reduce complaints

Willis Towers Watson now are Administrators for the DHL Group Pensions Scheme. They have found a brilliant new way to reduce the number of complaints they receive. If you send them an email they send back an automated reply saying their contact details have changed and are at the bottom of the message. You use that and get the automatic reply again!

Applied to move my DHL pension in December 2025……..still waiting……no communication from them or DHL about what’s happening despite letters from my Financial Advisors Company asking them what the delay is. Total shambles from DHL Pensions and WTW.

Don't use this company for anything to do with pensions

I had the misfortune to have my company DC scheme with this company. When I left the company, I wanted to transfer the money to my SIPP. However, it has proven difficult to do this and so far it has taken four months and the money has still not materialised. When you ring up you have to go through a security procedure twice (first via the computer system (NI No, DOB, Postcode) and then with the telephone operator again) which takes 5 minutes. Then you have to explain the problem to the operator who doesn't have a clue about much of your history. They then put you on hold to go and talk with the admin department. Then they give you an excuse as to why they have moved the transfer on.If you complain you just get a load of waffle back. I don't hold out much hope of ever getting my money - looks like they are going to steal it from me. Pensions ombudsman next.
