Review Time
Poor customer service by rep named Christina. We called the main number to ask questions about a flight on the trip we booked online. We were not greeted friendly by Christina nor did she care to take the time to answer our questions. Very combative when my husband called and again when I called stating she answered his questions but she hadn’t. Stated we were given the opportunity to select other flights when asked about ours which wasn’t true as well. Hoping our trip in November is great but Not sure we would book another trip with Wingbuddy
We just came back from the Costa Rica’s Natural Wonders tour with Wingbuddy (January 26 to February 6 2026). This was our first guided tour and we loved it. It was a wonderful hassle free trip. A great way to see all the wild life Costa Rica has to offer. Our guide, Camilo Espinoza, was exceptional. Camilo was patient, kind, has a great sense of humour and had an abundance of knowledge about the animals, plants, food and customs of Costa Rica. He went above and beyond to make this trip special and unforgettable. It was our first time travelling with a group and we couldn’t ask for a better bunch of people to share our time with. We became a Wingbuddy family. Because of this tour we were able to see parts of Costa Rica you normally wouldn’t see if you stayed on a resort for two weeks. The accommodations were not 5 star places but they were clean and very quaint with a lot of character. Staying right in the rainforest was a very special and memorable experience.
One area of concern was our stay in Monteverde is that the accommodation did not have a safe to lock our valuables in. All the other accommodations did have a safe. Also be aware that in these smaller accommodations there are no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors. I would recommend to bring your own, if this is a concern.
I would highly recommend a Wingbuddy Tour
I have never travelled with Wingbuddy before, and checked out a number of their competitors before deciding on booking. Every time I reached out for a quote, it was prepared immediately, which allowed me to compare what I was receiving.
When I called the booking line for further support, the rep Codie Lawrence was well informed and helpful.
I had the worst experience dealing with this travel agency. My credit card was compromised after booking with them.
They provided my airline ticket with incorrect name on it. They were not willing to correct the issues, they insisted that it was all my fault by booking online. They want to charge me extra for correcting my name.
Tarrable experience and very unprofessional stuff.
WARNING: Lack of Support After Payment. We were on a 17-day tour of Japan that started off great, but things took a turn on the final day. Upon entering our hotel room, we found both beds had stains. While trying to write an email to the service, I noticed the stool was also stained. Complaining to the hotel was not feasible as there was a language barrier. Further communication with the service led to untruths and blame-shifting, with no apology offered. I've included photos. The hotel claimed to be 4-star, but honestly, it wouldn’t even rate as 2-star.
Our experience with the service was exceptional! It was well-organized and carried out without a hitch. Everything proceeded smoothly and met or surpassed our expectations. We would gladly recommend the service and are already considering our next adventure!
The support team was incredibly patient and well-informed while we organized our Best Of Scotland trip. They addressed all our needs, enabling us to book our own reward flights and adjusting our invoicing as necessary. We are eagerly looking forward to September!
This is our first time using the platform for our vacation, and the initial interaction with the representative has been wonderful. She was supportive and took the time to guide us through everything. We are excited about our trip in July 2026.
Our excitement diminished quickly after arriving on time, only to face multiple delays on our first flight. We were informed that our bags were being removed due to missing our connecting flight. The proposed solution was unacceptable, as we would lose valuable days of our tour. Despite reaching out to the airline and the service for assistance, we received no help and were left stranded. Eventually, we had to purchase our own tickets to reach our destination. Unfortunately, our luggage was delayed for days, and the customer service we received was unsatisfactory. We had hoped for better support from the service, especially after investing considerable money and trust in them. Overall, this experience was very upsetting.
