At Bristol airport, the staff members are a bunch of rude kids, that think they are at some kind of play ground. A bunch of kids in urgent need of adult experienced supervision. Food is average and too expensive for what you get. Beer got to table already warm! Never again!!
Today 14th april , and had not been in for a while. I can understand how the company is losing business. We had a meal in the castlegate Dudley branch and it used to be fab, but I was so disappointed in the quality of the food. A pizza that was only as good as the ones supermarkets sell under a fiver, costing £13.25! The meat ball main was okay but just not as good as it used to be . An mac an cheese that was £13.25! sorry the only thing that was good was my sons burger and it was less money, we had been out all day and as my sons girlfriend is veggie we thought more choice and never had any cause to complain about quality before, but with drinks added for the four of us, £75.00 bill was riddiculous , I wish had just gone to the supermarket and spent £25.00 on the same food. Not great , the staff and the place is good but come on bosses okay so your cost cutting but going completely out of business because your buying cheap pizzas etc. So stop robbing your customers .
Entered at 6.10 pm, took a while before we were seated, wasn't that busy. Sat there waiting, eventually got asked for our drinks order. Waited some more, got to give our orders. More waiting, and then our starters turned up. Chicken strips and wings, they were good. More waiting...and waiting, and waiting, and then at approx 8.10pm our mains turn up. The burger was ok according to my son, but only got 2 stars. My steak was, well, very poor. It was cold, although my onion rings were hot. Menu said it came with "mushrooms" plural I had one small mushroom. The steak as well as being cold, was gristly. Begs the question "why didn't you send it back?", well, I have to get up for work early, didn't want to spend another 2 hours waiting for hot food. Staff were nice, I keep saying after every poor experience, ( this is the third), that I won't come back.....this time I'm going to stick to it, and make it my life's work to tell as many people as possible to avoid Frankie and Benny's.
Plymouth restaurant's ambience and the deco were nice so we give you 2 stars. But, sadly, things went downhill from there. I popped in to the bathroom to, then, see a toilet seat sitting next to the toilet, and the door was so close to the toilet that it was difficult to get in and out. Spaghetti meatballs were tastless, no herbs or seasonings whatsoeve (they made me ill). Our experience with Frankie & Benny's in Newquay was poor, and the Plymouth one didn't do any better. The portions were small, but more importantly, the food made me and my family unwell. We won't be coming back.
Frankieandbennys at Bristol Airport is a complete mess. Utter chaos! First you have to wait a long time to be seated, then you have to wait forever for your order to be taken. So after half an hour I decided to follow the example of other guests and left as well!. Absolutely ridiculous. They should realize people at airports need to be served quickly. What a shambles!
Westwood Margate branch On the positive servers and the cider and starter was good . Not much else I'm afraid.Pizza garlic cheese starter was good and served quite quick. The main was another 40 minutes I noticed that people who came in after us were getting their meals before us . Eventually we gets ours . My partners meatballs were Luke warm and my Mac n cheese was burnt on the top . Not impressed wont be coming back here . Would like to add that after speaking to the manager she refunded the Mac n cheese . Fair enough
Went to Frankie and bennys broughton retail park chester. Superb service by Jack our host. Lovely food piping hot, swift service, very informative and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be going on a frequent basis to this branch. Always a great experience.
Went into Frankie and Benny's at Eldon Square - haven't been in one since lockdown as our local ones closed, big mistake, quite quiet but it was only just lunchtime, waited to be seated to be told "you can sit there or there" both tables needed wiping so picked cleanest, asked if we wanted a drink asked for cola. Bored waiter said "large" we said medium he then disappeared never to be seen again as a younger much more pleasant chap brought drinks and took order. We waited and decided we should really have tried somewhere else but decided to give it a chance. Food arrived dropped onto the table by an equally bored waitress who asked if I wanted anything else but had vanished before I could answer. My husbands meal was ok , not all hot but edible mine was the wrong meal I ordered a classic chicken burger but got a beef burger so searching for staff the pleasant chap took it away apologising and had it replaced . By the time I got mine my husband had eaten his, never saw the bored couple at all as the young pleasant chap seemed to be doing all the work. We paid and left, never to return again wishing we had just walked further along to our other choice.
