Enjoyable Breakfast Experience

I recently had a delightful breakfast at the local store. The staff were incredibly friendly and assisted me to my table, making me feel very welcome. The service was quick and the food was tasty. I suggest anyone nearby to check this place out!

Limited vegetarian options

It's disappointing to see the menu lacks vegetarian sandwiches or main dishes. There are only two food choices: a jacket potato with cheese and beans or a cheese omelette. Compared to other venues, the options for dietary needs are quite limited. They don't even offer a simple salad without meat, which seems quite easy to provide. Even the pancakes come with bacon, and you have to ask for them without any substitutions. This place really falls short for anyone not eating meat, and I would advise vegans to steer clear.

Avoid this place

Avoid this establishment. They seem uninterested in customer feedback. In today's world, any company without a contact email is untrustworthy. Despite reaching out through social media as instructed, they simply ignored my messages. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Hygiene issues and poor service

We ordered three mini English breakfasts, one without beans due to an intolerance. When the waitress brought our order, each plate had beans and mouldy bread, so we returned them. While getting some water, I noticed the chef handling food without gloves, which is unacceptable hygiene. We received no compensation for these issues, and the staff's attitude made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were a bother for mentioning it. I cannot recommend this place.

Nice place, unfortunate staff attitude

I was hopeful about this tea shop, given its rarity in the area. However, my experience was disappointing. I ordered a cream tea for Mother's Day, but the manager refused to sell a slice of cake, claiming it was 'for tomorrow.' His dismissive attitude led me to cancel additional orders. While the fries and drinks were enjoyable, the manager's behavior overshadowed the food. Unfortunately, this negative first impression means I won't return.

Overpriced and disappointing

Steer clear of this place. The staff were rude and dismissive, making me feel like I was inconveniencing them by placing an order. The prices are exorbitant, and the menu is a blatant rip-off. My fish finger sandwich and fries were dry and lacked flavor, clearly reheated. Overall, a disappointing experience with poor food and service.

Not worth the price

This place is vastly overpriced, both in quantity and quality. I expected table service at these prices, but the staff seemed disinterested and made me feel like a bother. I've visited much better establishments nearby that offer great service, quality food, and far better value. The location is nice, but it doesn’t make up for the downsides.

Great food and service

I stumbled upon this gem while visiting friends. Despite the cool weather, the place was bustling with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu was impressive, and the service was prompt. I enjoyed a coronation chicken sandwich that was faultless and reasonably priced. The only minor downside was the pay-and-display parking, but that's not the restaurant's issue. I will definitely return on my next visit.

Unwelcoming staff towards pets

I couldn't properly evaluate this place as we were turned away with our friendly dog. Upon arrival, we waited outside without any greeting, and when we were finally acknowledged, the staff member coldly stated 'no dogs.' It was surprising since many were walking their pets nearby. No offer of outside seating or explanation was provided. We chose to go elsewhere and had a wonderful breakfast, with friendly staff who welcomed our dog.
