Working with Freedom Stairlifts was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. I had many, many questions and they were easy to get hold of, answered all my questions and were extremely knowledgeable. Once we made a final decision to use Freedom the process was quick and easy. It was less than a week from the time they came to measure to the time of installation. I highly recommend them. Many thanks to Xavier, Noel and Wilkins!! Life will be much easier for my father once he returns home from rehab.
My Acorn stairlift stopped midway up the staircase. I called 2 numbers for Acorn and left messages. Turns out I called Freedom Stairlifts by mistake. Noel of Freedom returned my call and even though I hadn’t purchased the stairlift from him he diagnosed and helped me fix the problem over the phone. I am very grateful because my husband relies on the lift and was stranded halfway up! This was Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and he returned my call and helped me, free of charge even though I was not his customer. Kathy Morbit, Toms River, NJ
After a great deal of frustration looking for a stairlift company that would quickly install, at a reasonable price, a stairlift before I came home from rehab, we found Freedom Stairlifts. What a pleasure it has been to deal with them. They were able to install in a timely manner and we were able to rent the stairlift for the 3 months that we needed it. No damage to our walls , which was a priority and we liked the fact that we could rent the product for a short period of time and then have it removed. Easy in and out! These folks are the ultimate professionals- I highly recommend to anyone in our area needing this service.
I can't tell you how frustrated I was trying to get a repair for my 12 year old stair lift and then contacting 3 new companies to buy a new Lift. Some reviews for one of the companies were awful, especially for SERVICE!!! The prices were very high. It was like "take it or leave it".Then by some miracle I found FREEDOM STAIRLIFT COMPANY and Noel!!!!!! He was a careful listener about my situation; caring to do all he could to help; offered at least 3 solutions; patient with my questions; and quickly SOLVED the situation!!!! I was especially impressed by his technical knowledge of so many different products and particularly my unit. He had my Lift FIXED with such an inventive and knowledgeable technician and he left it clean as a whistle. I believe NO ONE could help you more and as quickly as possible. I would suggest you make NO final decision until you talk to Noel.
We recently and suddenly were in need of an outdoor stairlift for my father and had no clue where to start. We googled stairlift companies in NY and reached out to a few and upon speaking to Noel at Freedom Stairlifts- we decided to do business with them. Don't waste your time comparing companies and prices, just call Freedom Stairlifts! My father needed a chairlift so called them first based on the reviews, Noel Cano came himself and went through all the options, costs, logistics, etc with patience and care. Our gut felt absolutely right about Noel and Freedom Stairlifts, but of course we felt we needed to price it out with other companies, which Noel recommended we do if we weren't totally confident. A week later my father fell down the stairs, fractured several ribs and shoulder, cut open his head, etc. , was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks during Covid without access to him and minimal communication. It was a horrifying time. Of course we called Noel a couple days after he fell and Noel immediately scheduled the install date. His team came and installed it professionally, kindly and with care. His team waiting until I got home to go over the whole system, how it works and even had my mother try it out. My father came home a few days later and it was good to go. A few weeks later my mother had a question and called, figuring she would leave a message and get a call back eventually. No. Noel answered the phone immediately and had the same patience and care to explain the answer to my mother's question as he did the first day we met. Noel and his team actually care, make you feel comfortable and confident in the product and help ease the stress, costs and complications of caring for elderly people and people with movement difficulties. If you must compare companies, please do so, but do call Noel first and if you get that gut feeling like we did, just go for it! You're loved one needs caring. Best of luck and well wishes to you.
