I have used Top Dogs for a year now to walk my two dogs regularly. I also take advantage of their useful dog taxi service from time to time. I have always found Marina and Eddie unfailingly helpful and cheerful, very kind to the dogs and to me, their owner, and accommodating to my variable timetable. I know the two dogs enjoy their walks because of their joyous enthusiasm when they hear the van stopping outside to pick them up. The long sleep they have when they get back shows they have had good exercise. I am very happy with the Top Dogs service.
Our Labradors, Rosie and Levi have been walked by Top dogs for the last couple of years or so.Sadly we are moving away so had to say goodbye, but we would give them a big recommendation. They have always been cared for well.Thanks Marina and Eddie.
This company (van registration plate started LF16) drives like an absolute nutter. Today they tailgated me and then overtook me when travelling in a long line of traffic, to gain one space in a queue for absolutely no reason and into high speed oncoming traffic. I had to slow down to make a space big enough to let them in infront of me to avoid a headon accident.Later down the road, they recklessly overtook the next car infront at about 50mph in a 30mph zone and into an oncoming bus. They could have easily have caused 2 serious accidents, risking innocent road users and any pets, in the 5 minutes they were in view of me.I would not put my shopping in that van, let alone my pets. If you truly value your pets, do not touch this company as they will not be transported safely in that van.
I have been using this business for a couple of years now and couldn't praise them more! They are kind and caring and my dog absolutely loves going out on walks with them. I know other customers who are equally satisfied and would highly recommend them. The dogs are treated with love and respect as you would expect from a professional dog walking company. 10 out of 10!
I have personally seen a dog walker from this company on two different occasions and locations. On both occasions the individual concerned only gave the dogs 10 minutes walk and put them back in the van but the customer is being charged for an hour. I spoke to the walker and he confirmed this. On the most recent occasion when I saw this walker the two dogs on a lead were not only being roughly manhandled but the walker then returned the dogs to the van after 10 minutes and drove off. As as an owner and lover of dogs I was so upset at what I had seen I phoned the company and reported this to the owner. At best she said that she would look into it and gave what seemed to me to be feeble excuses for how the dogs had been treated. This company claims also to be professional dog trainers yet what I witnessed showed the complete opposite. Another dog owner I spoke to said that he had also witnessed this same individual give the dogs no more than 10 minutes on each walk. It is disgusting because the dogs are not being given proper exercise and the owners are being short changed. If you are considering using this company for dog walking check them out thoroughly and don't hire them based just on all the smiley photographs and claims they make on their website, because from what I and others have seen the reality does not match their advertising. Very upsetting to see dogs being treated this way. Animals have no voice and someone needs to speak up for them.
