Shame on this company, which used to be one of the best providers of high-quality vinyls. Orders worth hundreds of dollars remain unfulfilled, and the company simply cuts itself off from any communication, remaining just silent, ignoring and remaining. The class action lawsuit is warranted as the scamful practice hit customers who were loyal for so many years.
I really dislike needing to use afterpay. I could not use the payment method I wanted and the immediate enrollment into a monthly payment system instead of allowing me to pay for a gift all at once was unnecessary and created more work for me to go and individually pay for each instalment after ordering.
I received a 3 month membership as a gift only to find after redeeming it and placing my first order / selection that VinylME no longer honor international shipping on memberships.I reached out to Customer Service to work this out and they responded promptly offering a refund or store credit. I replied with my choice and have had no action or response since (Over 2 months).I've tried contacting via their website, direct email, and even Instagram (desperate attempt...). In over two months I have had no contact or response from VinylMe and still get regular emails reminding me of my Membership (that I CAN'T use!!)Honestly a really poor experience from a service that by most accounts is great. Completely unexcusable given they appear to be using Zendesk and I've included ticket numbers etc... in each follow up.
I was gifted a 3 month subscription, at the cost of $135, and I received one record. And in order to set up an account VMP does ask that you provide your credit card in case you would like to continue, which I get. But with no warning whatsoever after the gifted 3 months, they charged me another $135 for my own 3 month subscription. BS. Go to your local record store and support those business owners instead!
Ordered 3 records in June 2024 with VMP promising production and shipping 3 months later. Fast forward to April 2025 and multiple “your order is delayed” emails later, Vinyl Me Please is no longer responding to emails from customers. I have sent multiple. Tried to get a refund through my bank but it is past their deadline for reporting it. THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!
I pre-ordered the TLC Fanmail album in February 2024. This reissue (the third one with VMP) was originally scheduled for July 2024, then postponed to the end of the year, and then pushed back again to March 2025… It's now mid-April and nothing has changed, with no information sent out to explain what's going on with this vinyl I paid for over a year ago! I've sent multiple messages and haven't received any reply in over a month. What's going on? I used to get quick responses, but now the company seems completely abandoned. Do not order from VMP – you may never actually receive your order...
This place practices fraudulent business practices. Do NOT buy a short-term subscription as a gift. They force you to enter a credit card, saying you will not be charged if it is a gift, but if you don't go in and cancel, they charge you for three more months. $170! To top it off, customer support is non-existent. I filled out multiple forms and sent multiple emails and got NO response. The record selection is also terrible. Don't waste your money.
Overall it was a good experience minus not knowing when the records would arrive or the basic timeline. Additionally, one of the records is defective and does not play properly. I will reach out to see if this can be reimbursed or replaced.

We are storytellers, curators & a community who understand the impact a great album can have on someone. And, we are firm believers that vinyl is the best medium for creating these experiences.
We’re fascinated by the long (sometimes grueling) journey a record takes by the time it’s in your hands — from artist to studio to pressing plant, and beyond. Because of our dedication to the process and the people behind it.
