Some Challenges, But Ultimately Successful

I enrolled in this program in 2018 with multiple accounts totaling nearly $49K. I paid $756 monthly for 50 months, and they settled all accounts for $28K. My credit score improved significantly, but I only gave three stars due to some costly mistakes they made. They missed payments to a creditor that led to legal action, which was stressful. However, they did refund me promptly when I raised concerns. Some negative reviews may stem from misunderstandings about the process. Without their mistakes, I would have rated them higher.

Regret My Decision

This was the worst decision I could have made. Don't let this company 'help' you as I did. I've spent over $30,000 in four years, only to face court cases and judgments while trying to settle $19,425 in debt. It's a complete scam, and I deeply regret my choice to involve them.

Avoid This Service at All Costs

I can't express how dissatisfied I am with their so-called 'services.' Initially, things went well, but they ignored a subpoena I sent three years ago, leading to garnishment of my wages, which is pushing me towards bankruptcy. I've been calling for weeks about the garnishment, but there's no urgency or response from them. Do not use this service.

Do not hire this Co!

I have just read quite a few previous reviews. I don't know where they find so many people who are happy with them. They are under investigation with the Wyoming AG's office. Some of that is coming from the numerous complaints to the Better Business Bureau of Wyoming. I wish I had never heard of them! We applied for a debt consolidation loan. We were contacted by someone then called Summit Law firm. They have a great sales team. We agreed and they send someone to go over the endless amount of pages they call a contract. They flip through it very quickly. If I had a chance to read it a couple of days previous I would never have signed it. We enrolled 4 different credit card debts. At the time we were drowning, First thing they tell you is to stop paying. They also tell you it will negatively effect your credit. Well It's been 3.5 years later and my credit score is still in the tank. I am still paying in $500.00 a month. This is supposed to go into an escrow account and build up so you can try to get a settlement. Hard to build up when they take close to half every month for fees. After I was in the program awhile I asked for an update. Nothing had happened. They said you had to miss at least six payments before the CC card co. would negotiate. They did settle 3 out of the 4 debts. For less than what is owed. My gripe is when there is a settlement they drag out the payment schedule for as long as possible. Example: On Oct. 13 2018 we enrolled a debt of $10,089.00 By Sept. 20, 2019 we owed $12,057.10. They did get a settlement for $4,822.84. on Sept. 23, 2019. Great! Instead of saying why don't you come up with that new total they dragged it out for 24 months. For the first 10 months the payment was $25.00. For the next 7 months it increased to $150.00. Then increased again until it was paid off. 24 months and I was paying in $500.00 a month. This month July 2022 I will make the final payment for the third debt. Now I enrolled $12,000.00 of debt I owed to Capitol One in 2018 also. They filed a lawsuit against me. They hired a local lawyer to defend me, who did nothing. This month I get notice from Wyolaw that the cc card Co. was willing to settle for $12,000.00. The original amount. It has since ballooned to over $14,000.00. When I raised the roof I got a call from someone in NY who worked for them. In less than a week He had a signed agreement and they were willing to settle for $9,000.00. I have $3,000 in my escrow account. I sent in $6,000.00 in cash and they are supposed to forward my $3,000.00. Then supposedly I will be done. It only took 3.5 years. I thought it could of been done in a year and a half. If they had offered me to make the cash settlement for the other three I would have been done a long time ago. When the third debt was at $1500.00 I tried to get them to let me make the final payment. They gave me the runaround and now I am facing the last payment. Paying them all those fees every month and this does not count the original retainer. After complaining to the Wyoming AG's office I have had all kinds of attention. Never ever again. Buyer beware!

Worst company ever!!!

Worst company ever!!!! I have been "working" and I use that term very loosely with WyoLaw since 2019 and like many others, they have screwed me over royally. When I signed up, I was originally told this was debt consolidation (mind you the guy who signed me up was gone within a couple of months after I joined). My credit was fine and I wasn't delinquent on anything until I let these dummies take over. I immediately received a summons and a threat to get my wages garnished because the law firm required weeks to respond and wanted me to handle the summons on my own (despite the fact that I pay them unrealistic amounts of money to represent me). I finally got in touch with an attorney who had a brain who then helped me stop the garnishment, however the debt then got much larger than what I originally owed. Fast forward, I have removed all but 2 debts because this company is a joke. One is the lawsuit issue and supposedly the debt was paid in full in January 2022 although the law firm can't furnish anything to prove this. Come to find out, there was interest due on the account, which has now doubled and I have a delinquent mark on my credit bureau account because these people don't know how to do their job. I would pull my other account, but it is in negotiation as well, but not holding my breath for that to go well. If you need help. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HEADACHE and DO NOT USE Wyo!!!!!

If I could give them a negative star

If I could give them a negative star, I would so I will just give them an "F". It seems to me that they picked out all of the good reviews. My experience with them has been horrendous. They have caused me to have my wages garnished. I have 11 months left in a 48 month program and only 22% of my debt has been settled. I call in trying to speak with a supervisor and the rep flat out refused to let me speak with anyone. I ended up just hanging up on her. I think they must give them a script because they all say the same thing. This is a big ripoff and if I had the funds that I paid them over the last three years I would have been able to settle quite a bit of my debt. Now I am staring as this huge amount that is still outstanding and wondering how in God's name I am going to get it paid. I refuse to get back into their program because they did not do what they promised and I have no confidence in their ability. I have filed a complaint with the Wyoming Attorney General's office as well as the Colorado Attorney General's office. The attorney who started this company was disbarred and I think she just turned it over to supposed lawyers who are just as unscrupulous as she was. They are also right now being investigated by the AG's office in Wyoming and is entangled in a lawsuit. I truly wish that I would've read all of the negative reviews before I joined this so called debt resolution program. The only debt that has been settled is their own (with the money in the fees they collected from me). I wish that I'd never heard of these people.

Nothing was ever a problem when working through my debt situation with Wyolaw's team. They knew how to handle everything, nothing was a surprise and did it with a smile.
