UPDATE 2 from Oct 15, 2024: They re-activated my account to take 1000 GBP from my balance (well done XAPO!) and when I tried to withdraw my money, they blocked again my account asking again the same questions. Every time I submitted anything they requested, they requested again and again and again, although I did this already when they blocked the money the first time! Good practice XAPO "Bank"! One more time, I asked this so called "Bank" to refund my money. This is the worst "bank" I ever saw, guys refund my money ASAP or I will take futher legal steps again your company and every one willl know how you treat and scam your customers!!UPDATE AFTER REPLY: Thank you for your email. They sent me a message to provide documentation. I provided the proof of the payment. Few days later, they sent me an other email to provide more documentation, I provided:- the signed contract with my customer (who paid that amount)- My recent salary payment slips here in Estonia- My recent bank statementThey said they will reply within 48hrs, it has been already almost 2 weeks, and they keep ignoring my messages.An other SCAM company???? Please give me my money!!!!I will take also legal actions again your company if you keep ignoring and plan to run away with my money!!!!I wrote my name clearly here so you know, my review is real. I want my money back!!!
Xapo has been holding my money since 3 of July this year. Basically I’m freelancer who does marketing and I send an invoice to my client with my Xapo IBAN and never recieved that payment. Then Xapo asked me about the transfer and I explained and sent the invoice and they told me they can’t accept that payment and that they have to refund it back to the client. I contacted my client and he told me that it’s not a problem and that he can send it to other account. But since then I have been sending mails and mails with responses like “our specialized team is working on it” and similar. In total I have sent about 50 mails and they still didn’t refund that money back. Update as of 03/01/2025:They still didn’t send that money, all of their answers to mails are general like: “we have our team working on it”.
